So far after several days of light snow and wet snow, the dry powdery, heavy at times snow has arrived.
We have about a 5 or so inch snow pack, with another 12++ plus inches likely by late tomorrow.

Looks like we will enjoy a white Christmas in Chardon this year. Picked up 5 to 10 inches of snow yesterday; and with a current 5 inch snow pack, a bit of wintry mix/snow tomorrow into Tuesday should not melt us below an inch come Christmas morning.

4 new inches so far. 2-4+ more inches likely by the time this lake effect event ends tonight.

Chardon was spared the worst of the lake effect but still tallied about a foot over several days. Another 6-12+++ inches likely by Friday morning from an Arctic front and more LES. The next storm moves in late Wednesday.

We had 3 inches of wet snow in Chardon by 6 pm yesterday. Over night the snow became drier and ended late at night. I would estimate about 10 or so inches total. We are still a good foot below seasonal average for the date.

WOW! That is awesome Jeff! Any thunder or lightning with it? That looks like 3"+ an hour to me lol I'm sure it is hard to tell with the wind as well as measuring. I am jealous! Great way to start the season my friend! :thumbsup:

Snow of varying intensity up here in Chardon. Bit over 2 inches so far. Mix may occur this afternoon. Lake enhanced snow into tonight.

Winter weather up here in NE Ohio. 5-10++ inches likely here by tomorrow evening when you add the snow, goo, and LES tomorrow.

Storm total of 5 inches from the past day or so of snowfall. For the season now up to 28 inches, but still about two feet under average for the date.

Picked up about 3.5 inches overnight in Chardon. May get another 3-5+ inches by dawn tomorrow. So far for season about 2 feet below average for this time of year(51 inches is average for date) Current total about 26.5 inches.

Checking 700 MB moisture and the snow shower machine should continue on and off for Friday and on Christmas Eve as well. Additional accumulations are expected with this activity. Temps in the single digits. Wow! The worst snow will be this evening and into tonight with lighter, but still impactful ...

Moderate snow at 9 am in Chardon. Had 5 inches at 6;30 am, May accumulate another 3-6++ by the time it's done late today.

Picked up 3 inches last night. Seasonal total up to 6,25 inches for my backyard in Chardon.

Up here in the snow belt of Ohio we are expecting some accumulation away from lakeside communities,
In October the 18/19th of the month I totaled 3.25 inches of snow.

2 inches at 1 AM with more into the day likely.

First snow accumulation for Chardon. 3/4 of an inch at 10:15 PM.

Looks likely that our first snow accumulation will probably occur early next week for snow belt region of Ohio into western New York State. All guidance shows it.
