Good Morning Les and yes very seldom see a day 7 severe outlook. Not sure how much snow my son got yesterday but the airport had 7.1 inches. He is northwest of there and will talk to him later but I know he is usually 2-3 degrees colder than you see at the airport. Just not sure how many hours of the heavier snow he got and yesterday I spoke to him around 10a and it just started snowing but had 1/2 inch at that time.

Day 7 discussion:

Day 7/Sunday, eastward advance of the synoptic-scale features will
continue, along with some continued strengthening. With continued
moistening of the pre-frontal warm sector supporting afternoon
destabilization, along with increasing deep-layer flow, a broad area
of severe risk seems likely to evolve -- centered over the Mid and
Lower Mississippi/Lower Ohio/Tennessee Valleys. Again -- all severe
weather hazards would be possible.

Good morning all! Getting ready to head over to Milford to do a little trout fishing with my Brother this morning. Hoping the rain stays just to our south. It'll be close. Otherwise, a shower or flurry Wed AM. then again a small chance for Thurs. The best chance for all comes Friday with a warm front. Scattered on Sat with severe storms possible on Sunday. 50s today and Wed, 60s Thurs and 70s thru Sunday. 50s early next week behind the front.

Had some steady light rain fishing this morning. It ended around noon. Probably tenth of an inch or less type stuff. We got 7 rainbows.

Good Morning and the old routine of trying to get to spring in late March. Most folks are ready for the warm days but living around here it just seems to take its good old time. This weekend though much warmer and of course some rain and maybe severe weather. Good news is in southern Texas some heavy rains expected and yes some flash flooding which is not good but no doubt will help some in the drought department. Expecting 5-10 inches in many areas. After this do they go directly into summer or is this a pattern that can last into parts of April. Just looking to see signs of what summer may bring and again sometimes items that happen in March can cause results later in the spring and summer.

Good morning all! Had some fog this morning and another light frost. 32 degrees. We will see the 50s today with a late day shower possible. Same with tomorrow but warmer in the 60s. 70s by Fri with the warm front bringing in a good dose of rain to the area. Scattered Sat in the warm sector with severe wx still a possibility on Sunday. Hopefully in a couple more days we can begin to see more of the particulars with that system. Cooler and drier early next week.

For next week, we will repeat this again with a warm front coming in by Thurs / Fri of next week then a cold front sometime over the following weekend. In the extended... around the 10th of April give or take, do we see a cut off low developing? If so, you can kiss any extended warm weather good bye. Looks near normal to below as a whole thru 4/10 at this time. Yes, some 70s mixed in too obviously but cool shots of air are still showing up too. We're kind of stuck in this pattern right now.

My neighborhood community is hoping to start a Spring league Bocce ball tournament the week of Mon April 7th so we'll see how that goes wx wise.

Getting ready to hit the trout pond one more time today since the rest of the period (Fri thru Mon) is looking wet and active. Today doesn't look too bad until this afternoon as showers move in. The action becomes more widespread tonight as the warm front approaches. I will discuss our severe wx chances once we get closer. As of right now, no changes for Sunday from the SPC. All AV posters are still in the zone. We should see a slight risk IMO with an enhanced risk to our SW once we get a little closer. That can change though certainly. Just my early guess.

Good Morning and the true start of spring with opening day. Could be some showers later this afternoon but should get the game in. A warm front will be the main item over the next 36 hours as folks north of the front can expect cooler temps and some rainfall. So folks north of here are more likely to see a heavier dose of rain during this period. The warm front gets well north of us on Saturday and temps well into the 70's. Sunday and Monday brings a more widespread event of showers and thundershowers with some severe weather possible. Next week another repeat as temps drop behind the front for a few days and then we ramp up the warmth and more rain chances.

Again not the best pattern but we are getting some decent rains and that is always nice in the spring and hopefully it continues through much of June.

Timing of the front for Sunday not to favorable for widespread severe locally, but that can change of course. In a nutshell for the time being, a slight risk still looks good for isolated severe.

Caught three more trout today. Smoked 4 and have 6 more I am probably going to fry up or bake tomorrow for my Lenten Friday.

The active pattern rolls on as we track some showers this evening becoming more likely overnight into early Friday. Sat may not feature too much, we'll see. The bigger deal is the slowness of the system. Sunday and now most of Monday too is wet and stormy. Could be some big totals upcoming should areas get repeated rounds of heavy rains. Ground IMBY is still mushy in spots from previous rains.

You can tell where the warm front is. 70s and low 80s from AR, Western TN and into Western KY, while we are stuck into the mid 50s here. (My high was 60 today).

Sunday probabilities were bumped up overnight. The usual details still in flux, clouds/sun, on-going showers , timing of evening storms. 6z NAM all of the sudden bumped up severe parameters from earlier runs
