Have a heavier band moving through from southwest to northeast. There is another band to the southwest and watching this carefully though at the moment the heaviest rains should be southeast of I-71 but will watch over the next hour.

Good evening! Quiet weather now until Wed night / Thurs with our next chance for rain showers. It might end as a flurry. Temps are seasonal until Tues / Wed when 65 to 70 is likely. 40s Thurs then we warm again into the 50s with more rain by next weekend.

For Saturday, CVG broke a daily record rainfall with 1.76". Beat the old record by over a half inch from the 1940s.

Good morning all! A beauty today and not too bad tomorrow. The pattern turns active though. Wed night into Thurs is our first system with rain showers perhaps ending as some flurries. Then another weak system with some showers Sat, not a big deal, with a bigger system late Sun into early Mon. This one looks to give us a decent shot for rain. Then another around Wed and yet another towards the end of next week. Temps are seasonal thru the period after Wed of this week.

67 as of 2pm. I am going to grill some homemade brats after work today for supper. We used pork butts that we cut up and ground along with a brat spice kit, then we added cooked ham fat and chalets and ran it all thru the meat grinder twice then stuffed it into natural casings. Going to be my first tasting of this year's meat. The breakfast sausage turned out great too! I have not yet tried home made hot dogs. Will report back later on that.

Good Evening and what a beautiful day to be outside. I see the system coming in is further south and this helps my son get in on the heavy snow in north central Wisconsin. I believe 5-7 inches where he lives plus several more systems in the pipeline. Getting back to the local weather and with a further south track this does put us more in line with the severe part of the storm. This does not imo look like this past weekend with the outbreak of storms but the winds will be the main problem though at the tail in of an outbreak of storms you can sometimes get those isolated storms that form tornado's. Again not a high risk by any means but something to watch later afternoon into the evening. Does not hurt to get a little more rainfall as well. The extended looks cooler and quite busy and though most systems will be in the form of rain we could sneak a few flurries or even a few snow showers over the next 10 days.
