Good morning Tim... Not seeing any severe wx outbreaks but at the same time, the pattern looks mild provided that the fronts push in from the NW and then fizzle thanks to the blocking over Eastern Canada. I can see that scenario playing out so rainfall amounts will be tricky. Or a lot of heavy rain should the front stall over us for any length of time. Probably will go one way or the other.

76 here today... CVG also 76. Can we overachieve and get an 80 tomorrow or Wed before clouds and rain chances take over?

I have a 2nd cousin named Ruth Ann on my Mom's side of the family whom she and her husband Tom reside in Jeffersonville, IN across the river from Louisville. Please keep them in prayer as at 7 o'clock tomorrow morning Tom will be having an extensive 10-12 hour surgery for colon cancer at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. He had a bout with cancer in 2013, had chemo and, thankfully, had gone into remission for 8 years.

Currently 68 here in G'ville and progged for around 50 on Tues morning.

Looks like the weather today will be another beauty with highs in that 75 to perhaps touching 80 degrees S of the river. It'll be close! Wed also looking good with more clouds in the afternoon. Rain chances should hold off until nighttime. Highest chances are Wed night / Thurs with smaller chances Fri. Chances come back up Sat night and into the day on Sunday. Highs drop back into the 60s once the rain comes. GFS keeps a cut off low around with small rain chances continuing next week while the euro dries us out for a bit. Go Euro! Much better for my trip lol

Saw an update from 2nd cousin Ruth Ann a half hour ago at FB saying that her husband Tom is now in recovery and that his surgery went really well PTL!! Please keep him in prayer as he'll have a long and strenuous recuperation.

Currently 73 here in G'ville. Progged for 53 on Wed morning.

One more dry day tomorrow, going to mow after work before the rain comes. Most folks should be 78-80 tomorrow. Clouds not withstanding. I think the rain holds off until after dark.

Models are coming into a little better agreement. You know the drill for today already. Rain for tonight into tomorrow. Then a small chance Thurs night / Fri. A better chance comes in Sat afternoon thru Sat night. A break Sun and mon with the next system for Tues of next week. Temps will skew below normal next week as well. Also seeing some frost talk showing up in the extended range.

South wind at DAY (blowing from the city) has them at 62 already. It's 50 here in the valley.

Cracking 70 already... if clouds hold off, then 80 is achievable.

Fingers crossed that I can get some outdoor tasks done after work this evening.

Looks like we are now in a marginal risk for tomorrow - NAM has a line of storms coming through in the afternoon/evening.

I think most folks are good until this evening for outdoor plans. Small risk west of I-75. Need about an hour after work to mow and I'm golden.
