I want to get things going as much as anyone, but I am going to wait it out. After my Birthday - Mother's Day time period, then we are usually good most years. Not all as last year proved.

Light rain started up here about 30 mins ago. Just a trace so far of rain since the amounts are going to be light with this system. There will be some periods of mod rain later esp from the river on south but bulk of the heavy action will stay to our south.

Already 1/2 inch here and a steady moderate rain continues. Will get a break later this afternoon but will the sun come out to allow for some stronger t-storms to develop is the question. Needed the rain down here and just get the pollen off everything is a good thing to happen.

We need that here too (pollen is bad - tree pollen) but this system isn't going to get it to done for us. Isolated severe cannot be ruled out for you down there but the better action looks to be in Georgia. The low is too far south to even get you much into the warm sector.

We're right smack dab in the middle of the rain shield now with light rain continuing thru this evening before winding down tonight. Love the pattern for Sun - Tues before things begin to change mid to late next week. If the current modeling holds.. Wed afternoon and esp Thurs into Fri of next week, could be a fairly wet period. Inch plus showing up on most models at this time. We'll have to wait and see if any severe wx can occur.

I agree Les and though not a ton of rain its nice to get a nice gentle rain that sinks in plus we are not in the heat of summer so that is another plus. Hopefully a nice inch or so later next week would help to end April. Nearly 1 inch down here and there are some storms to the west but not sure if they will make it here later this evening.

A bit foggy out there this morning but other then that, a nice day ahead once the fog lifts. Temps should manage to get up into the lower 60s.

Good Morning and got about 1.5 down here. Had a nice storm between 9pm and 1030pm last night. Had the rolling thunder and heavy rain but very little lightning. Beautiful day expected with temp near 75. One more week down here and then heading home for a couple of weeks before we take a 4 day vacation to Hilton Head and going to look at the Jimmy Buffet community to see if we like that lifestyle.

Visible shows some sun back into Central IN so hope to see that translate down here soon. Need to get outside and do some things once it dries up. Will mow tomorrow... going to be too wet today for sure. 49 currently here and at CVG.

63 here with sunshine! A delightful afternoon in progress. Gonna fire up the grill and get my big black frying pan out and do some walleye here soon. Fresh cut spinach for dinner too out of the garden just hours ago. I wish I had morel mushrooms... then my life would be complete lol

Tomorrow afternoon topping out at around 70!

Got to 63 today. Look for patchy dense fog in the morning with lows around 40. Could see light frost in rural areas. Highs 70 to 75 for everyone tomorrow with a lot of sunshine once the fog mixes out. Tues also awesome with sun and clouds and 80-82 is my call. 78-80 on Wed with storms moving in late afternoon hours. A wet Thursday ending Thurs night or early Friday. *Fingers crossed* KY Derby weekend looks good on the models today if that holds. Rainfall amounts in that 1 to 1.5" range continues to show up on guidance. We'll see if the guidance has overreacted again once we get closer.

Good morning! What a pretty sun rise today with temps around 40 imby. Expecting 70 to 75 area wide this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Hope all can enjoy the next couple of days.

GFS has 2" at CVG for the Wed afternoon thru Fri morning period.

Euro has a little over an inch at CVG thru THU night with heavier amounts the further north you go. NAM is furthest south and heaviest QPF for CVG with GFS in between.
