Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
Hey Pepper! Looks like chances for rain in the forecast tonight and this weekend. Highest chances look to be Sat night into Sunday. An inch plus likely for totals especially near and S of Cincy. Lighter amounts north and heavier south.

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
41 degrees here. 0.04" for the day Got up to 46 earlier for the high. Look for light rain as the warm front comes thru tonight into tomorrow. Should see a break before we get really wet Sat night into Sunday. Still looks to be a sharp cut off over our northern forecast area!
Just cause we are working on the forum, doesn't mean you all can't post. AV is back and it's time to celebrate! :D Post away everybody!

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
Glad to be back! Thanks for the efforts to those behind the scenes!!
Spent the evening tubing tonight out at PNS. The light misty rain kept the crowds down, wasn't bad as long as you had a decent outer layer to stay dry. Probably the last "good" weekend of conditions there for the season.
Personally I'm ready for spring, bring it on!

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
Good morning folks! Happy days are here again on our forum and we will continue to be updating things and making it our own as time goes on! For now... let's talk weather! :D
A gloomy day but mild day for today as the steadier rains hold off until tonight. Heavy rain is likely in some areas tomorrow. A Flood Watch has been issued from the boys for everyone S of the Metro. 1.5 to 2" of rain is likely in that area. An inch plus should do it for CVG Land with decreasing amounts as one heads north. Temps this weekend should be mild in the 50s and L60s.

* Portions of Northeast Kentucky and Northern Kentucky, including
the following counties, in Northeast Kentucky, Lewis. In Northern
Kentucky, Bracken, Grant, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson.
* From late tonight through Sunday evening.
* Rain will develop across the region tonight and continue through
much of Sunday. This rain could be heavy at times. With the ground
already saturated, there is the potential for this rain to result
in flooding.

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
Had 0.10” from this mornings rain. Definitely a touch of spring out there this morning. Birds chirping and milder temps.

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
12Z models are continuing to bump the heavy rain area further north. I could see the FFW getting expanded a row or two of counties north.

Re: February 2021 Weather Discussion
Both the operational NAM and GFS have about 1.5” even up here. 3km NAM has a sharper north cutoff so will be interesting to see how it plays out.
