That is some major dry air behind the front. We had U50s also for dews at CVG so similar to you Tim.

Good Morning and looks like another nice day. So what are we starting to see that could be a headache this winter. That is upper lows. Models tend to have problems in placement and speed of these systems. Don't get me wrong I love upper lows for us locally because they tend to bring us chances for bigger snows because the milder air tends to stay away. Next week is anyone's guess of where an upper low may be and where it may track as they have a mind on their own and many times retrograde.

We've already seen a closed low or two in late summer / early fall so it will be interesting to see how long that type of weather system keeps showing up.

81 here today, CVG stayed in the U70s. A tad early for the 5pm climate report but probably 78 or 79 I'd say. If they hit 80 a jet took off like always lol
