And to add insult to injury a Redleg rookie LF Tyler Callihan broke his left forearm after a nasty collision into the wall in Atlanta.

Prayers with Tyler as he has surgery to repair the fracture and as he recuperates and rehabs.

Tigers won last night 8-6 against the Rockies! We have a double header today with game 1 at 3:10pm. Casey Mize will start. Second game is TBD for both the start time and the Tiger pitcher.

Tigers sweep the Rockies and won both of their DH games yesterday! Game 1 we crushed 'em 10-2 with the second game even better at 11-1! We are still in 1st place with an awesome record of 25-13 2 1/2 games ahead of CLE. Next up, we are back in Detroit tonight at 6:40pm with the TX Rangers. Tarik Skubal gets the start.
