Mainly cool in the 50s for highs with mid to upper 20s for lows Tues and Wed mornings. Keep your fingers crossed but right now next weekend is dry with highs in the 60s to low 70s. That call for next weekend will be correct, as long as the Thurs into Fri system keeps moving and doesn't get cut off.
My Dad and I are scheduled to get our first set of two games a week starting this Thurs vs two women in the Spring Bocce ball tournament.

Like we "need" anymore rainfall for quite a while after this weekend!
I have not mowed yet and my lawn is going to be a jungle! I probably won't mow until Wed giving it as much of a chance to dry out as it can before the next system comes in on Thurs.

Good Sunday to you all....

As our current system winds down, our severe wx threats and flooding issues will be taking a break. The pattern will still continue to be active. I don't have much change for the next week or so. A weak system that brushes us Mon afternoon and evening with a shower chance. A better shot of rain Wed night thru Thurs night. This one has a good dig to it and it does look to move on out by Friday leaving us with our first nice weekend in a long time! Palm Sunday weekend is looking good! Temp wise... highs in the 40s and 50s with lows in the 20s and 30s region wide. We will warm into the 60s by Sat and into the 70s, I hope, by Palm Sunday.

After that, I do think severe wx chances return. How bad and in what form, we will fine tune later.

PAH, IND, LOU and JKL all have Freeze Watches issued for Mon night. I would think ILN will be doing the same once some of the flood headlines expire. Then, I would expect the same thing for Tues night.

My Dad is going to put out an "all call" message to our Brethren Ret Community village 'hood sometime early this week since temp-wise and more precip chances re Mon / Thurs e.g. about our Spring Bocce ball tournament that we'll have to delay play until the week of April 14th.

I sure wish by mid-late April that the pattern would flip to drier as Ma Nature has been steroidal overdrive and many places of the country have already had a year's supply of liquid sunshine for the water table. Feast or famine as the saying goes!

My worry is we'll go from this to hot and dry. :(

Good morning! No changes expected to the forecast this week minus temps for the weekend. Still expecting a small shower chance this evening. Wed night and Thurs, rain is likely. Perhaps a leftover shower early Fri. Still under a freeze headline for tonight and tomorrow night. The 20s continue to be expected for lows. 40s and 50s this week for highs. The weekend now is cooler. 30s in the morning and 50s on Sat with the 60s on Sun. Thankfully, the weekend is still looking to be on the dry side.

I got my front and streetside mowed last week before the floods came, but couldn't get my backyard done. It's soaked in there, you need an airboat to get around my backyard, and the grass is HIGH there. Not looking forward to chipping away at that.

I feel you on that. I am out at my farm and the grass popped to almost a foot in some places last week and the ground is a swamp. I am hoping it can be cut this week but with the hills, it will need to dry out a little before tackling it or it will be a lot of sliding and tracks.
