Lol Mollie. As kids we had older neighbors and knew where to go and make a few bucks. Just had to be there early and do a great job and back then a dollar would have probably got you 10 White Castles. I do remember at the Florence WC when they were a nickle a piece and they charged you a dime to use the bathroom. That is creative to say the least

Just want to add to this post but long before drive-through places were available. I am really sounding old lol

The bell tolls 2 and out to shovel again. This time much easier except the wind a tad stronger.

We're up to 25 as of 2pm at CVG. Glad it's warming up for me to shovel and plow in another hour after work here. Blowing snow and light snow reported with a vis of 1 mile.

We ended up with between 11-13” here in Clifton depending on where I measured. Backyard looked even and was 11”, front yard was 13”.

Yikes! Looks tough but close to what the streets look like in my neighborhood too. Have not seen one plow today but I get it. Interstates and main roads always will be first. :)

That’s the worst! I think I have some PTSD from when that happens.

Now that is a lovely video! Snow weenie approved!
:)

It's finally stopped here. XU called remote again, waiting on the inevitable call for the boys' school. I have not seen a plow in our neighborhood - hubs saw one early this morning.

What a wonderful storm.

We shoveled the mound at the end of our driveway and were predicting that exact thing for whenever the plow comes through again.

Measured 9 to 9.5 throughout different spots in the yard have about 2-3 foot drifts that I shoveled off the deck was afraid of getting to much weight on it. Very nice neighbor plowed my driveway way and our county road. It was a beautiful scene outside.

I've got to say the overnight models did a good job of predicting the snow today. The globals were both showing 7 to 10 inches. NAM was showing 11 for my area. We got 8.5 this morning.

I got 3/4's of it plowed. Have to clear the cars and shovel around them by hand tomorrow after work. 1st county plow of the day doing my street now. CVG is going with 6.4" yesterday and 4.2" today per the 5pm climate report for a grand total of 10.6" I know I got more then that here. I plowed at least 4" in round 1 and another 8" overnight and today with the deform zone. From the deform zone alone, I got 4". I am recording a foot IMBY from this event.

Event total QPF at CVG ended up being 1.04" with 10.7" of snow and sleet. I think that is lowballing IMO. I got more then that here. My Brother in Milford got even more then me!

Well, I thought it was going to be a bust for here. :) :) Got a nice 4 to 6 storm out of it. Got a two hour nap in will be heading back out to clean stuff up and apply salt in a few minutes. The wind is crazy. Wondering about drifting on some of these properties. Looks Like down south did ok with this storm too. lol You guys got nailed.
