That was an area of concern in the forecast. Tim has especially mentioned the dry air eating away at totals up that way. I still think several inches will fall but they won't get the better totals we will be getting down to their SW where the deeper moisture is. We are in the best spot. Due north of the mixing line.

Les I believe a level 3 three is likely and very seldom do we see that happen. Temps are just plain cold and not sure what treatments work and my guess plowing will be the main item tonight.

Models are just a snapshot of what may happen and there is so much more than models. Use them as tools and then make a forecast. If the forecast busts well guess what it won't be the first bust and won't be the last. Certain models do better in certain patterns and met's along with forecasters will do the same. Still plenty of time left in this storm so I say enjoy what you have until we get that next system to forecast.
We can never get a forecast perfect but in an overall sense, we have done a great job thus far. We'll see the final results by this time tomorrow.

Will that heavy snow band make it over to Southeast Warren county near Morrow? It feels like intensity of bands keeps dropping off as it moves over us.

Kenton County went Level 2 about 3pm. Hoping it doesn't go level 3. I'm assigned in office tomorrow and I have to travel up the taylor mill hill to get to campus.

2.5" near Kings Island. Coming down at a decent clip, mixing with sleet again, you can hear it bouncing around.

It's really pounding out there now! I think we can make a run at a foot if the deformation zone works out as envisioned tomorrow.

I believe one area that has been a little surprise is the ratio. Was expecting 8-1 - 10-1 and it has been probably 12-1 or somewhat higher at times.

Blowing and coming down again in Batavia (can't see it well in the pic). Hubs and I just did the driveway real quick- very fluffy light snow for now. By the time we got to the bottom (your standard suburban length of driveway) the top was covering up again.

I'm so happy! Finally significant snow!!

My boys get another day of vacation, hub's patients cancelled for the morning - we'll see how his afternoon is. XU went remote (we don't get snow days anymore) - so glad I can just watch tomorrow out the window.

Tim... where we are, we have been getting hit repeatedly by those smaller meso scale banding features. Very heavy returns coming in for us right now!!
