Kong-Rey is now a TS as it slowly moves away from China to the NE and eventually moves over Japan. This system won't be strong enough IMO for the Typhoon rule.

Kong-Rey is now an extra tropical system over Japan moving NE. We can pretty much say good-bye to this one.

Typhoon Yinxing has a well defined eye now and is a very powerful system. Wave 93W has a high chance to develop while waves 92 and 94W have a low chance.

The West Pac is on fire with 3 named systems. We have typhoon Yinxing which will strike Vietnam:

https://www.metoc.navy.mil/jtwc/products/wp2424.gif

We also have TD Toraji (26W) which is expected to get the N Philippines and eventually work its way towards Hong Kong.

We also have TS 25W or Man-yi which is expected to pass by Guam.

Finally, wave 94W has a low chance to develop.

Yinxing is still a typhoon and on track to strike Vietnam next week. Toraji is also now a typhoon and is expected to strike the N Philippines and then mainland China down the road. Man-yi is still a TS near the islands of Guam.

Wave 94W now has a high chance of development.

Yinxing is now a TS impacting Taiwan and then Vietnam later this week. Toraji is still a typhoon and is expected to strike the N Philippines and then mainland China down the road. Man-yi is still a TS but now might briefly become a typhoon then hit the Philippines in the longer term.

Wave 94W is now TD 27W This one is forecast to become a typhoon, brush the Philippines, and Taiwan as it tries to recurve.

Yinxing is now a T getting ready to move into Vietnam. Toraji is now a TS moving past the Philippines and will eventually impact mainland China or Taiwan down the road. Man-yi is still a TS but now might briefly become a typhoon then hit the Philippines in the longer term.

We now have TS Usagi. This one is forecast to become a typhoon, brush the Philippines, and Taiwan as it tries to recurve.

We can take Yinxing off the board now as a weakening depression over Vietnam. Toraji is still a TS off the coast of China and Taiwan. Man-yi is still a weak and disorganized TS. Usagi is now a typhoon and looking pretty impressive, Track map for this one shows a brush with the Philippines and Taiwan being possible as it tries to recurve.
