Re: CVG 90 Degree Day Contest 2024
Yes we started out like gangbusters this season but have slowed down somewhat. Two months and this contest will be history lol. Still have plenty of chances to hit 89 or above but if we can keep the vegetation going no doubt becomes harder as the nights will continue to get longer and longer

Re: CVG 90 Degree Day Contest 2024
Getting to the time of year we can begin to project a winner. Seems to me this weekend into early next week could be the last solid 90 degree chance. However, we all know that even throughout the month of September, especially, we can see 90 degrees. This weekend into early next week offers up some chances. After that, who knows, the 90's could be winding down for this season. We will see. Looks like Les, Eric, and House of Cards have the best chance of winning!

Re: CVG 90 Degree Day Contest 2024
We'll have to wait and see how many more days we tack on for August. Then does the trough pattern return for Sept or is it a head fake? IMO it is way too early to project too much.dce wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 2:42 pmGetting to the time of year we can begin to project a winner. Maybe a little early, but at the moment I will stick with my projection of one of you three will win.tron777 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 2:55 pmWe'll have to wait and see how many more days we tack on for August. Re: CVG 90 Degree Day Contest 2024
Appreciate the vote of confidence as well, but I will say that of the three of us, Eric's call is going to end up being the one that most closely mirrors the way those temps played out. I may be good on the total number but I was way backward in when the heat would come and go.dce wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 10:26 amMaybe a little early, but at the moment I will stick with my projection of one of you three will win.tron777 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 2:55 pmWe'll have to wait and see how many more days we tack on for August.
