Good luck indeed... I'm not the least bit impressed with this system, never have been once the low track was west of us.

Heavy rain starting to move into Southern MI. Expecting about 2"-4" in my neck of the woods when all said and done. Hopefully my septic holds up, it does NOT like heavy rainfall or snowmelt. :banghead:

Unfortunately the forecast of sparse qpf south of 71 was correct. A shutout here.

0.48" as of 7am at CVG for the event total. A few scattered showers this morning otherwise we can pretty much say good-bye to Beryl. A few LSR's come into ILN for flooding (mainly over IN) and a few wind damage reports. I have not seen any tornado reports so that's good.

The remnant low from Beryl is now over Toledo, Ohio., Per the latest visible, the back edge of the clouds is over Central / SC Indiana. SW Indy is now under sunny skies so maybe we will see a bit of sun late in the day. I still cannot rule out a few light showers or sprinkles, esp north as the low slowly pulls away.

It looks like we'll have a 3-5 day stretch of 90s coming most likely starting this weekend. (Friday will be close).

Good Morning and only got 0.14 inches of rainfall. Surprised would be the word for this rain output. Tons of moisture around and though away from the main energy we had these cells that would form and get quite strong but they were isolated. If you got under one then getting .5-1.0 was easily done but the drought continues for my location. A few more isolated showers today and maybe a isolated leftover on Thursday but then the heat begins. My guess is by Friday the 90 degree parade starts and it will get muggier each passing day. Models are still trying to bring some fronts in here later next week and I am waiting to Beryl is out of North America to see if this come true. Yes the west still hot and the Bermuda High is trying its best to grab hold and I know the central states have been very wet this year so yes its harder to get the heat in that area for an extended period but I believe the next 2 weeks that happens. If the heat does not take over the next few weeks out there it becomes harder just because in August we start to lose a few minutes a day off daylight and if the vegetation is still wonderful out there heat waves tend to look for dry areas like ours lol.

I know one thing and though dew point only got to the mid 70's it felt like Florida imo.

Dews are back into the low to mid 60s atm with a gusty west wind in excess of 30 mph behind the departing low. We'll have to see the timing of the next cold front (Tues or Wed of next week). Until then... we bake beginning on Friday. Tomorrow is a nice day with the 80s and manageable humidity.

Good morning all! ILN has a 20% POP for this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon as well. Best chance is to the north. I'm not really expecting anything down CVG Way. Then it is all about the 90s for this weekend on into next week with the best chance for storms by Wed of next week. That is when our next frontal boundary drops in from the north and west.
