My folks and I sat in lawn chairs and watched it from our driveway. :) It was in totality here, too! 8-) Dad got a pic of it. 8-)

A nighttime insect landed on my shirt, some small night birds flew over, and a dog barked.

An absolutely amazing day via the heavens and couldn't have asked for better weather! 8-)

I was taking a nap during this but I later watched some videos on it. a guy in western NY live streamed it. at one point it was literally like it was 10 pm there. that is pretty wild for whoever was in the 100% coverage path

Intercepted totality in Centerville. Awesome! Did a FB live but man the video didn't do it justice. The phone camera autocorrected for low light. It was so dark!!

We went to Eaton OH and was very awesome. Especially when it was getting dimmer and all of the sudden it was like someone turned off the light switch. Then 2 and a half minutes later someone flipped it back on! Lol Saw Jupiter and the horizon was beautiful while it was dark on the ground. brought a colander for the sun crescents.

Thanks, I just saw a video out of Indi and was practically the same what I saw, but 2 minutes longer. I'll never forget this experience! :)
And I'll never look at a partial eclipse again with the same enthusiasm! Lol

We went to Bloomfield Indiana, I went all in with the RGEM cloud forecast, which has yet to let me down. Right on the center line, the darkness was stunning, much darker than 2017, I'm guessing because the shadow was much bigger. Incredible experience. This was about 30 seconds before it ended so the sky (southwest) was already getting light. Bloomfield had a great small festival, including food trucks. We had a blast.
