For the next day or two, it'll look similar to what you're seeing here. Big Omega Block with an upper low coming into the West then your ridge in the shape of the Greek letter Omega, then the upper low impacting us. One more nasty day tomorrow then we slowly improve.

Our final chilly day today folks, then we'll slowly start to warm up. Sunny now but that will give way to clouds later on with a few showers late this afternoon and evening. Highest chances NE of Cincy. Then one final rain chance late Fri into very early Sat, best chances SW of Cincy. Next system due in later Sunday into Monday. Temps mainly in the 70s to an occasional 80 beginning this weekend..

At CVG, winds are gusting over 30 mph now. Clouds are starting to build in from the north and west so our warming today should soon level off. Can't rule out a shower, mainly North of Cincy later on this afternoon and evening. If anyone gets wet, amounts will be light thanks to the dry air in place. 12Z GFS still has the best chance for rain Fri afternoon thru early Sat mor5ning near and SW of Cincinnati. Amounts again will be light as dry air will limit how much rain falls on the NE side of the rain shield.

56 was my high today, CVG had the same. Will clouds limit us to the 50s or will the sun win out and give us 60+ on Wednesday? Second, winds should stay up tonight to prevent frost formation IMO. Tomorrow night, best chance.

Only 41 here this morning so frost was avoided. Expecting a shot for some light frost by tomorrow morning as mid to upper 30s appear likely with clear skies and light wind. Otherwise, I have no changes. Small rain chance mainly way north today and again Fri night into early Sat mainly SW locations. I think the vast majority are going to be in for a slow warming trend but some nice weather in a couple more days. Patience needed.

52 with mostly cloudy skies... you can forget about 60. Sunny skies are as close as LOU so once the low moves a bit further away, that should arrive overnight to drop temps into the 30s by morning. Biggest change to the 12Z GFS is to get light rain into the Metro early Sat morning. Models are back n forth on yes and no. A few hundreds or does the dry air win out? So not a big deal but temps will be held down. Do the clouds clear out for the L70s Sat afternoon or not is the biggest issue of the day. Then we warm up into the 70s and to near 80 with t-storm chances returning next week around Tues or Wed.

Good Afternoon and we just can't get the clouds out of here. My guess is low 60's at best today and hopefully by Thursday we get closer to 70 with more sunshine but it will start out quite cool in the morning so we need the dry air and sun to help in boosting those temps. Next week we look to change the pattern and hopefully that comes with some rainfall. Will be great to get the warmer air but if we miss out on the rain this time of year I do worry about an early heat wave but again lets see how May plays before we worry about any heat wave.

I agree Les and just hope over the next few days we can get more sun though could be where clouds are increasing once again on Friday from the south so the best chances for more sunshine will be north and east which is a change from the past few days. Love the cool air in the fall especially after a hot summer but once we hit spring I am ready for 70's and low 80's before the humidity starts to really ramp up

I'm with you Tim, but we typically seem to jump into the 85 to 95 range rather quickly most years. Would love to see more 70s and low 80s for the next few weeks also. We'll see. There is another cool shot lurking for the third week of May (not as cold as right now) so if correct, 60s and 70s and a few low 80s should be the rule for a while which is fine by me.

34 here this morning with a light frost on car tops / roof tops. 36 at CVG the last time I checked. Be prepared for a nice one today with temps finally making it up into the 60s!

Good Morning and hit 36 this morning but no frost. Should be a quick warm up as temps soar towards 70 though we may just end up a degree or two short but still a wonderful day with sunshine. Friday will be nice as well with some increasing clouds later in the day. Rain chances are slim later Friday and Saturday morning and probably folks north of the river will see nothing and folks to the south may get a brief shower but the remaining part of Saturday will be nice as dry air and the sun trying to win the battle. Next week a more early summer feel and chances of showers and thundershowers as moist air returns and the temps start to spike as the air in the southern plains works its way north and east. Still to early for which days are more and likely to have some rain but by Sunday should have somewhat of a better ideal.

Next week to me is looking like a 75 to 80 degree type of deal with daily chances for t-storms in the usual scattered fashion. A little summer preview with the humidity that will be in place.

56 as of 11am at CVG so it won't take long for us to exceed yesterdays temps. What's nice is that the wind has finally calmed down too so you can actually feel the sun today.
