Too bad the old forum died or else I could have went back and looked but alas... that data was lost. :(

Hopefully somehow the current AV site won't die eventually like the original one did via its host server, Bro.

We should be fine for a long time now. Our old forum was like Old Yeller I guess. It had to be put out of its misery. It was so old and outdated that the data could not be recovered or restored. This is why folks had to re-register and everything. This winter, should it be a good one, should help ease any pain.

We'll see if we can do some stat padding tomorrow or Thurs. For snow, CVG did get a T this morning so we are still at 1.2" for the month and obv. the season. We are 0.7" above normal and we only had a tenth of an inch at this time last year. That's a heck of an improvement if you ask me! :)

Winter Month #1 will go down as being above normal in snowfall by 1.5" ! We'll see what happens in January. :)

Great start to the snowfall this season and lets see if we can get a good 12-18 inches total for the month of January to boost the totals close to 20 inches or above.

Sure hope that mid month signal pans out. We need that to achieve these expectations! MLK Weekend is usually prime climo for a nice storm. Just hope it's us and not a Cutter or EC Low.

As of the 5pm climate report, CVG picked up 5.6" today breaking the old daily snowfall record of 4.5" from 1966. This puts our seasonal snowfall now at 12.8" which is 2.5" above normal! At this time last year, only 2.4" had fallen.

No change to our contest today. 5pm climate report only shows a trace at CVG from the early morning action. We shall see if a few snow showers can occur tomorrow to tack a little but on to this.

CVG picked up 0.5" of snow today which brings us up to 14.3" on the season. That is 1.5" above normal to date. Unfortunately, the long term outlook says we go below normal and the next decent event is TBD.

Unofficially, IMBY, I'm around 8 or 9" being on the edge of the SE screw zone, with of course Matt being ground zero of the Screw Zone

Yeah, it's been tough for our Eastern counties from CMH thru yours and Matt's hoods. No doubt about that. We've been fortunate here in the Cincy and Dayton metros for sure. Hopefully back half of Feb or early March can produce something for everyone before spring comes.
