I know everyone is saying yes/no to snow. it is coming. Will likely transition from SW to NE. Graphic above shows CC on left with the rain snow line, and you can see the precipitation depiction isn't exactly correct with the algorithm. It will get here, just give it a chance.
Exactly Aaron and Les and I talked about that earlier how later in the day we would not see a direct west to east changeover but a southwest to northeast
Correct! I'll changeover before Columbus as an example.

Dry air is trying to cut things off in Central and Northern ILL but we don't care because the wider part of the band to our SW is what is coming our way and is also the part that will be pivoting over us also.

My cousin Jazzlyn and her fiance James in Melbourne, FL are missing the Siberian fun unless they're heading up this way for Christmas.

I am pretty sure the front is crossing the area now. Brighter area on radar.
I think it’s funny that Cub World is one of the dots on your maps!
Thank my kids. Seeing as how I have been to cub camp for several years, there is always some point it storms, so I labeled it while out there one time.
My kiddos were in Scouts for a few years so I've been out there too. Cool area.

Still 45 but the windchill indicator is dropping. Husband closed the office (dentist) tomorrow so all of us will be cozy making Christmas cookies and watching Home Alone.

You're welcome and Thank Aaron too! It's a team effort man! It'd be worthless without you all too. We are a weather family. How long have the majority of us been posting together? Some of us have even met in real life! We need a 2023 AV Get Together. Date, Time, Location, Who is in, blah blah blah will all need to be ironed out. We can make a separate thread in the spring after winter is over. We'll worry about it later but I'm serious. We need to do this as a forum community! An AV fireworks party... an AV Poker tournament. Let's come up with something cool!
I thought about a get together about a month ago. Last time I met you & Trev was at Appuzo's grill out sometime in the late 2000's.

I agree. The southern half of FL should escape the cold. The Panhandle will get quite cold though.

Melbourne looks to get rather cold as folks in the northern 2/3rds of the state has some kind of freeze warnings. So from about West Palm Beach and southward you may not get a freeze but will still be below normal

Wow! This is getting ridiculous! 21Z SREF mean:

CVG - 7" (What's going on here? Something's wrong. Is this for real?)
HAO - 7.8"
ILN - 6.7"
MGY - 7.8"
DAY - 7.9"
CMH - 6.4"
