CVG is up to 88. 90 should not be problem before the clouds roll in.

88 as of 12pm at CVG. 90 IMBY!!! CVG should have no problem cracking 90 now. Convection to the north has weakened and little in the way of debris clouds are expected this far to the south. I can only see some high cirrus to my NE. Mostly sunny with a southerly breeze here. Dews around 70 so quite sticky today for the last day of summer.

12Z GFS is one step away from phasing the leftovers of Hermine with the next trough and hammering us with heavy rain and strong winds in early October! A low chance of verification this far out but not zero. Anyone from the OV to the East Coast is at risk in my opinion.

Hey Les, and of course the major concerns would be flooding especially for the Ohio river if this should verify. I remember in September 2005 (I believe) when the remnants from a hurricane moved north up the western slopes of the apps and dumped copious amounts of rain in eastern KY, OH, WV and western PA and the river rose like 25 feet within a few days.

High of 91 for me - el zippo in the rain department for day 10 in a row. Dome wins again!

Temp was 92 here today now 72 after the storm passed. Not much rain, just a few hundredths. Worst passed to my south but loved the wind, noise, and flashes of light it produced. Good bye summer and hello fall! I love you because winter is next!
