Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
Good morning! We've got a new thread going to discuss the severe potential for Wed evening. Otherwise, cool today with falling temps behind the front on Thurs. That'll be a wrap for March.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
Cloudy and 36 here. I doubt we see the U40s during the daytime due to clouds and easterly flow. Temps will rise overnight though into the 40s and probably 50ish in the morning once the warm front passes. It is located well to the SW of us so it won't be until tonight for it to pass.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
42 was my daytime high, pretty much as I thought would happen. We struggled temp wise due to clouds and E flow ahead of the warm front. Warm front is roughly along a St. Louis > Paducah, KY > Evansville, IN line. It will lift to the NE overnight as I said this morning. A much different feel tomorrow morning for those that have to venture outside to go to work and school. Then the winds crank up, temps will soar, and we'll track all of that in our severe thread tomorrow.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
After the front passes Thurs morning, temps will fall and more rain showers will move in by afternoon esp as the upper low comes thru. We may end this whole thing as a few flakes Thurs night or early on April's Fool's Day (Fri) morning.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
Last day of March and we will see falling temps as well as rain showers coming later on with the upper low. Still breezy but not as bad as last night and yesterday. That takes us into April where we start it off cold with a few flakes even possible tomorrow morning.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
The low itself is continuing to deepen, now at 980 MB over Northern Lower Michigan. It'll cross the Straits and into the Soo today as it wraps up and peaks in intensity.

It was pretty amazing to see the amount of blooms after yesterday's near 80 day! Tree buds and flowers popping up everywhere! Now hopefully we won't see that typical late season freeze that kills/delays things.

Re: March 2022 Weather Discussion
Watching the upper level low which will spread showers later on and overnight. Could end as a few flakes early in the morning. For the I-70 Crew, could some of you esp N of the interstate get a car topper or mulch / grass coverer out of the deal? Please post if you do, thanks!
