It is! Made a beer run on my lunch break so I'm ready for the storm!
Beer and some good snacks and Les you are set to go. I have plenty of both already plus if I run out my neighbors are always stocked.
Sounds like we're ready to rock n roll Tim! We are awaiting the rain to pass us by so the front can drop in to change us over late tonight. We should be waking up to frz rain in the morning for our hoods.
Im ready , cranked up the generator, just in case, yesterday. From passed experience, It doesn't take much freezing rain out this way for my electric to go out
Have my bottle of Oliver red wine ready to be corked with my Italian dinner I'll be making. Yum!

Talk SNOW to me, Pete!
The bengals proved miracles can happen. So I don’t see why 20 inches of snow on top of Burlington can’t happen

LOL! I'd be happy with 4" all things considering. The track is great for heavy snow but the pesky warm layer is what is keeping us from having a block buster snow event here locally.

Been reading and reading so going to ask when do you all think the switch over from rain to freezing rain will take place? I am north west of you all in CVG land. Also my bosses daughter is at Purdue University and she had reported several inches of snow on the ground already.

Tim, I actually picked up two bottles last night for backup and may need more for Friday night as I plan on staying home with all the snow and ice around and temps falling below 0.

I'm liking the latest SREF probabilities. 50% chance for >8" includes the metro. Mean is 2.17". Plenty of members higher than that. Max is 10.64".

Euro seems a little stronger but again a little further south which agrees with most of the models this morning.

Just checked in with my daughter. She is a student at Indiana State in Terra Haute. Still rain and 35 on campus. She said there may be a little sleet mixed in.
