I like how all the OV weenies started posting hour 384 of the 6z GFS to Facebook… whipping everyone into a frenzy over our 30” of snow

Just a wee bit of change from the 6z GFS and 12z run for the long range (15 day forecast)......from 20"+ snow to zero at CVG LOL

Most folks are still in the teens as of the noon hour. 20 to 25 for most ought to do it this afternoon. Thankfully, the wind is not too bad.

You can see what effect snow cover is having on temps - currently single digits north of I-70 where there is still some snowpack left.

Only 22 at CVG as of 3pm. We moderate into the 30s tomorrow. Think I'll bbq some chicken for dinner tomorrow. Then light snow Thurs night and Fri. You know the call, not much, Then we drop again into the single digits Sat morning. Moderate Sun and Mon. Then we're into our new Feb thread where we will see the 50s by Tues., Rain by Wed. Models are pretty clear on that outlook. Once we get after 2/2, then it's ????

LOL @ 18Z NAM. Boston goes from 15-20" on the 12z run to ZERO because the low is so far east. Only a few inches on the Cape even. Weenie Suicide Warning for the East Coast in effect!

Not much happening for the rest of the month. Seeing a small clipper for some folks in Ohio on 1/31 on the Euro and now 18Z GFS.

Well the furnance started acting up yesterday. If I would reset it at the breaker box it would work. It went out over night tried the trick again at 2 am. no luck. Tired at 8:30am and it worked. Got down to 53 in here. Now it won't work again. Space heaters and a gas fireplace is my friend tonight until the morning when the new furnace arrives.
