A "mother" along with her bf tried to abandon her 3 children at a wildlife preserve this past weekend.

According to the investigative records, six-year-old James tried to grab the door handle of the departing vehicle but ended up dragged, which records show, Gosney told police killed him.

Sadly, but understandably, the search for the body of James Hutchinson was suspended today due to the river levels.

What on earth is wrong with some people? Seems to be happening more frequent lately. RIP young man!

The search for the body of James Hutchinson will resume Sunday, when search crews will return to the Ohio River in Lawrenceburg, IN after high water delayed the search through most of the week, according to Middletown police.

A memorial fund named the “James You Are Loved” Memorial Fund has been established to benefit the boy’s two siblings Rachel and Lucas, Middletown city leaders said in a statement Friday.

I certainly hope so bro! Not sure anyone on here knows, but my wife and I are fostering a baby girl who was left abandoned at the hospital about a year ago. So I have a special place in my heart for kids who are hurt, killed or left abandoned. We hope to adopt her, but the process has been painstakingly slow.

From 1970 to early 1975 my Dad was a night manager for the Cincy Children's Home and he, my Mom, sister and myself lived in an apartment on the Home grounds. The backgrounds of those kids who were in residential cottages at the Home were heart breaking and tragic. We invited some of the kids to come to church with us and back then my Dad during that time was allowed to have Bible study encounter meetings with the kids and some staff. Sometimes a kid would run away, get apprehended and Dad would have to go to downtown Cincy to juvenile hall to pick them up if their charge wasn't a felony. I remember one time accompanying Dad to juvenile hall as kind of like a field trip and I remember an officer who worked there, asked something seriously to the effect of "So have you brought me another one?" when he saw me. It was a very humbling experience in many ways those years at the Home and knowing that my family was ministering to those compassion and love starved children. It was humbling too looking around the juvenile hall office depts and outside the courtroom door.

My sister and myself rode bicycles with some of the kids and swam with them in the Home outdoor swimming pool. We also walked to classes at a nearby elementary school with some of the kids also.

The Butler Co Sheriff's Office is assisting as the search for James Hutchinson resumes today. Prayerfully while the weather is still great from today through Wed the boy's body will be found.

Definitely not an excuse, but I know the Montgomery County child services here in Dayton are overwhelmed due to lack of workers and also COVID has really locked a lot down.

Body of James Hutchinson still hasn't been located.

Its been the weekend of 2/26 - 2/28 since he was dumped in the river near Lawrenceburg.

Along with a search for the body of 6 yr-old James Hutchinson, multiple agencies also are looking for the body of a 3 yr-old Cincy boy named Nylo Lattimore who was thrown also into the Ohio River. Nylo has been missing since December.

The degree level of evil in society truly blows the mind!

Frankly even with sonar technology for underwater search, James Hutchinson and Nylo Lattimore may never be found due to weather elements, river currents i.e. etc. It is very heart breaking but that could realistically be the outcome esp in a major waterway like the Ohio.

The mom that murdered the boy is going for an insanity plea.....give me a freaking break!

Brittany Gosney, the "mother" of murdered 6 yrs-old James Hutchinson, has now been found competent to stand trial on May 24th.

Sadly, the boy's body hasn't been found. Gosney and her bf tied down a concrete block on James before they dumped his body into the Ohio River near Lawrenceburg, IN in late February.

The "mother" of 6 yrs-old James Hutchinson, Brittany Gosney, was sentenced to 21 years to life in prison on Mon morning.

Her boyfriend, James Hamilton, will be sentenced Oct 4th for his part in helping Gosney try and cover up the murder.

The Hutchinson boy's body still has not been recovered.
