Just found that Clermont County has their own bald eagle nest with a camera watching it. Eagles are named Bonnie and Clyde.

Way cool and thank you for sharing, Linn! 8-)

When the eagle couple have some bobble heads and if they're a male and female they could be named Buck and Blanche. ;)

Thanks Linn! This is great! Looks like Bonnie has laid her 1st egg. :) Wish Gina would log on more often and post. She would love this thread!

:offtopic: Speaking of Bonnie and Clyde, the 1967 version one is one of my favorite gangster / mafia movies. ;)

Warren Beatty (Clyde Barrow), Faye Dunaway (Bonnie Parker), Gene Hackman (Buck Barrow), Estelle Parsons (Blanche Barrow), Michael J. Pollard (C.W. Moss), Dub Taylor (Ivan Moss), and Denver Pyle (Texas Ranger Frank Hamer) e.g. all did a stellar job! :thumbupright:

That Eagle cam is awesome. I’ve seen some flying over the creek behind me over the last few years, my brother just saw one flying overhead a few days ago , he lives near Batavia. They are definitely around here more and more , It’s unbelievable how enormous they are , truly a majestic sight

I see them regularly too when fishing on Caesar's Creek Lake in Warren Co.

I just noticed the egg has hatched. Also, I thought the nest was in Clermont County, but I was wrong. The nest is actually in the city of Cincinnati, south of Lunken Airport where the Little Miami river empties into the Ohio.

I edited the thread title to reflect the correct name / location of the cam.

There was two eggs but I’ve only seen the one hatched so far. They weren’t laid the same day so hopefully the other one won’t be long

I've seen a bald eagle before, dive down into the water, catch a fish and fly off with it. They are such skilled hunters! They are so majestic and awe inspiring to watch them live their lives.

Those cute babies are really getting big! :) Parents are away getting them some breakfast but looks like one is finishing off like a small snake or a big earthworm. :)

Wow! The eaglets look like toddlers now! They sure have grown in the last month since they hatched. They are ruffling their feathers and flapping their wings a bit. Mom just left to go grab some lunch.

The older sibling I’m assuming, has been leaving the nest for a few days now but comes back, and the other one I haven’t noticed it being gone but has been roosting out on a limb and flapping its wings , so that one is ready to explore at any moment
