Former Redleg Todd Frasier is with the Pittsburgh Pirates now. My Tigers beat 'em good 6-1 today. The Todd Father get a solo homer for Pitt.

At least the Redlegs finally made it to another Wild Card (albeit brief) vs the Braves last year, Bro.

So last year the Redlegs made it to at least a 1st round Wild Card series vs the Braves! Their 1st one since 2013!
But prayerfully / hopefully it won't be a long suffering season for us Cincy fans after the guys had such a crap of a 2021 spring training season at
7 and 19 and last place in the spiny Cactus League!!

Off day tomorrow with the next game is Saturday at 1:10pm. Julio Teheran whom I never heard of gets the start for Detroit.

The guys got killed 11-6 by the Redbirds.
Hoping it won't be a foreboding season in that way.
Next one at 4:10 on Sat as Tyler Mahle takes on Adam Wainwright.

Like my Papaw used to say.... everybody is going to win 50 games and everybody will lose 50 games. It only matters what happens during the other 62 games.

That is an awesome point, Les! Reds teams of late seem awfully anxious to reach it (50 losses) before most other teams. Maybe expecting a participation trophy?

https://www.wdtn.com/news/u-s-world/mlb ... trictions/
Both sad and petty that MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has decided to pull out of the deal designation with Atlanta hosting this season's 2021 All-Star game and playing politics with the Peach State over an election honesty voting bill. Just more caving spelunking to the Left.
