Nice to see Louisville get over 6 inches of snow yesterday. This also helps in keeping the colder air around somewhat longer and its colder than expected today for afternoon highs.
Oh wow I didn’t see that they cracked 6”…nice!
LOU is only 0.2" below normal now lol
Another KY special. Shouldn't be surprising. Given how its been for the last decade +, you really should move down to CB territory Les!
The blitz of KY snow storms started right around the time I went to college (2010 or 2011).
They had two in 2015.
They sure did! I remember that well. Models originally showed a hit for us then kept sliding south…both times

Good evening all! 26 here today after a morning low of -1. The coldest of the season (low wise) to date. 22 currently. 15 to 20 looks good for us in the Tri-state tonight. A few extra clouds and light S winds will not allow lows to bomb despite a healthy snowpack. No melting today in the yard here at all. It will melt tomorrow of course with highs in the 30s. 40s Mon to close out this month.

Breaking: today was the snowiest January day on record in #Boston. Absolutely staggering snow total of 23.5 inches. Wow.
January 20, 1978 had “only” 21 inches in a calendar day.

16 at CVG this morning, about the same here. Up to 20 degrees now with a light S wind and some clouds. Snow melt today with highs in the upper 30s.
