In terms of coverage I did. I called for 40-50% coverage. The radar presentation was way more then I expected. The models had that line blowing up South of us. It blew up right over us as it came in which is great for our hoods, but not so good for my forecast.

No doubt... if we can pull that off, we are good to go for a while anyway. My lawn was starting to turn brown so this was much needed rainfall today. The ground was like concrete prior to this system.

Glad that I was wrong and that several Tri-state posters have scored! :thumbupleft:

Looking forward to Sun for up this way AND the Tri-state! :)

Well that was interesting. We got 0.65 inches of rain, high winds and some lightning. Big tree branch came off neighbor's tree. Pulled down both power and cable lines to house. Both still work.

Dang, that looks gnarly.... That downspout may give your basement water issues, especially if the sidewalk slants toward the house????

CVG only picked up 0.23" Hopefully on Sunday, our I-70 posters can get in on some action that they need. :) The severe threat is over minus the extreme SE and even then it will be winding down shortly. For everyone else, lower humidity will be working into the region overnight. When you wake up tomorrow, you should notice the difference. Next chance at the 90s should be on Saturday.

Love the rainfall that happens after 4 or 5pm. Then it can soak in the ground with no trouble. Getting those 1p or 2pm thundershowers can be followed by several hours of sunshine and it has a harder time to soak in the ground.
