Yesterday the Euro really boosted up totals for overnight and that was a bust. Yes we had a period of moderate rain but with the system moving quickly the amount of time raining was shorten. I know in Greenville,SC plenty of rain once again and since I moved part time there in June of 2019 the rainy season has continued with very few breaks. The good thing is that no major heat waves down there and sure plenty of 90's but that is normal but no extended period of high 90's or 100's and one of the main reasons is it just rained to much.

0.37 here but had no thunder but the winds earlier were strong. Getting out of the short term drought one system at a time. Matter of fact my lawn looks the best since early August. I was unlucky during August as some folks got rain but I started the short-term drought earlier.

Yes, on the road to recovery getting that soil moisture deeper and deeper. Hopefully we get those soaking rains Sunday/monday to keep damage to plants at a minimum

Some sunshine out there now but very windy as the cold air pours in behind the front. We had 50s prior to the front moving thru and now, CVG is sitting at 35. We will stay in the 30s today, 40 tops. A cold night tonight 20 to 25 that'll take us into December!

Only about 0.11" for me - most of the action slid just east of my location.

Holy cow, it's cold out there. Went outside about 9:30 and it was ok. Went back out about 30 minutes ago and it's cold. That wind sure doesn't help matters. Looks like a wind chill of 24 atm. Still waiting on a few trees to lose their leaves. They might just stay on the rest of the winter at this point. The wind is really whipping here.

CVG keeps gusting over 30 mph from the west. Winds won't relax some until tonight.

Good Morning Les and though we ended up close to average the month had extremes both ways. Overall a good month as rainfall is returning and this no doubt helps in the short term drought. Lets see what December brings and will it be a month of extremes like November. My guess some fun and games for sure and again I am ready in the weather office lol.

I'm going with below normal temps for Dec which if they occur, it would be the first time probably since 2010 we've achieved this. Precip should be near normal. Hard to go above avg for precip because if we get a lot of cold weather then the precip type should be snow more so then rain.
