Eastern counties took the brunt of the heaviest rains for the week . Widespread 3-5”+ . East Fork is higher than it was a few weeks ago when we had 6”

Hello all! Cooper's soccer game was awful! I watched it from the car yesterday morning lol The rest of the games were cancelled and all of them today were to. Harper did good in volleyball and I also mushroom hunted again today too. The season for those is over. Did not find nearly as many as we did last Sunday and most were dried out so no new growth. 2 maybe a 2 1/2 week season and that was it. :( We'll try it again next year! :)

Anyway, time to get those gardens in and I'll try and do that as well as mow again sometime this week. Love seeing that high winning the battle for later in the week. One more Craptastic day and we're looking better for a while. :)

Happy Birthday Les and hope its the best ever. The upper low continues to plague us and models show it even staying around somewhat on Tuesday. Of course by then hopefully its minor in terms of rainfall. The late week system which models had last week moved everything further south over the weekend is starting to change and a more northward movement and similar to what it had last week. Yes we are on the northern edge but I was hoping that southern Kentucky would be the furthest north. Sure with an upper low that has been sitting for days will cause some problems with the models

Good morning all! Thank you Eric and Tim. It is people like you that make our forum so great and I thank you both! :)

Looks like we'll see some showers this morning rotating in from the SW as that pesky upper low continues to impact the region. Amounts will be light. Most folks should see a tenth of an inch or less today. Ok ok, I'll go with an isolated 0.25": amount to cover my ass. Anyway, we have a small shot tomorrow, nothing too bad, then high pressure we hope builds in to dry us out thru the weekend and into early next week.

Maybe I should have a small POP in for Wed / Thurs to account for that glancing blow, if you will, from that next upper low. GFS is more south then the Euro. The Euro is more north and 30-40% POPS would be needed at this time. We will of course watch that trend over the next day or two. The Euro was correct with the upper low before the GFS for this past weekend so I am ready to throw in chance POPS later in the week if necessary. ILN is dry right now. I will be too, but again, that could change.

Happy birthday Les, make the best of your day even though it's a dreary Monday, but will improve! Lol

Going to have to raise the lawn mower blade as high as I can as my grass is really high! Lol

Thank you Bo and Joe! Once again... love having you guys here! :) With regard to mowing, I'll probably have to do the same Joe. No rain here as of yet. Been partly sunny for a good chunk of the day so far.

Looks like ILN added Chance POPS for Thurs. which looks to be a good idea from this distance. So a small chance tomorrow, again on Thurs, otherwise dry Wed and also from Fri onwards. We are slowing pulling out of it guys. The worst is behind us.

Rain, rain, go away, come back in 7-10 days lol) Well folks, it is no surprise that it is raining again in some areas this morning as we are now on the back side of the upper low that is slowly going to depart the area today. Tomorrow is good. A cold front on Thurs. then we are looking great after that thru this weekend. We might have to introduce POPS for early next week, but we can worry about that later.

As you can tell by the radar it's a very rainy morning in the Dayton area .I wonder how long this band will continue? Looking forward to some nice warm sunny days!

It'll be a while but hopefully, your area can salvage this afternoon. For Columbus, probably won't be as lucky.

0.9 inches and counting at KDAY. Dayton will pick up over an inch. A little more than models were projecting.

Not much happening here. Had a little sun earlier before the clouds came back. Per radar, the backside has moved far enough away now that I may actually have a chance to mow after work today!
