I'm thinking this is going to go to Snowbo in the end, and looking at their monthly breakouts vs reality, theirs is the closest to what has really transpired this summer.

Either way, it was a good run, I went from the Outhouse to the Penthouse back to the Outhouse in just under a week, that's the way in the world of weather!

Tomorrow will make 30, more than likely. Will there you go. It didn't take long for my projection to miserably fail. Just a week ago the models really didn't pick up on just how hot it was going to get. Now WinterStormJoe or snowbo is going to win. If we are done with the 90's after this week then Joe wins. If not, Bo still has a shot!

30 days very impressive and if you told me we would have 30 days at 90 or above I would say we are having a very hot summer but that is not the case as we had some impressive cool days to counteract the hot days.

I've said it before Tim and I'll say it again. The lack of rain is my only compliant. We had a hot period in June. 90s were sprinkled about in July. We just had a very hot period here at the end of August. Otherwise as you mentioned, we did have several cool spells in between. In fact, August was running below avg in temps until the last week when the 90s obviously wiped out the negative departure. The lack of rain is the much bigger story for us this summer IMO then the temps.
