Impressive cold without any snow esp over Indiana. Pretty hard to go below zero without snow.

That's what I like about our forum. 9 times out of 10, we already know we're screwed.

Pretty much blizzard conditions all the way from Delmarva up the coast to NYC, Connecticut into Boston and Maine if that run verifies.

I believe it makes sense. Really the first true coastal storm to form. This season has seen those form inland and when that happens they truly have not bombed out. Need the input of the Atlantic to really get these storms going plus several pieces of energy coming together and and wonderful push of arctic air involved.

I think based on the data...GFS coming in now... that for Thurs night and Fri, expect flurries, snow showers with little to no impacts. If you can get an inch, be thankful, but I wouldn't expect it.

Just normal gfs and you will see back and forth. If storm is getting strong it will come back west. Seen this way to many times over the years. Even with the fast flow a stronger storm will hang up especially since its getting stronger the further northeast it goes.

We don't have any blocking or 50/50 low so I can see why it's weaker and taking longer to develop.

No doubt is fun to watch. I am going west because that has been the trend all season. Several times shown a coastal storm only to stay inland.

The model wars don't really have much impact for our area but for the East Coasters, it's coming down to the wire lol

CMC is also pretty far offshore with the low now too. Great storm for Cape Cod if this verifies. GFS shows that also.
