At this rate I won't be surprised if Darke Co i.e. starts getting into an abnormally dry D0 status going into early August.

IMO the SPC crew could trim away the SVR T-storm Watch for areas north of I-70 given the looks of the radar.

Hmm, I disagree with that , I think severe threat has lessened in and around cincy. Storms to my NE have ruined instability imby and many other on east side, same for the storms in South Central Indiana and the west side. Dayton and cincy split on display

Eric - sorry your hood missed out today. Hoping for some rain soon but it’s not looking very promising.

Les - rooting for that Indy cell to get into your hood.

Nothing here as expected. CVG blanked as well. We have a small shower chance Sat night with another front dropping in. Otherwise, that's it. Dry weather and more pleasant temps / lower humidity can be expected.

One thing I am watching is the possibility that the trough for next week gets cut off. GFS keeps showing this solution so we would get some shower chances towards the end of next week / weekend as a result. Euro waits until the front comes in next weekend for POPS and keeps us dry for most of next week. All models have the shower chance Sat night coming up but amounts look low and coverage is spotty. At least we're not baking in the temp dept!
