West PAC is firing up now with 3 systems. 95W which has a low chance to develop along with Tropical Cyclone 15 off the NW Aussie Coast and also TD Songda which is close to 95W (which is probably disrupting both circulation centers).

TS Meari is the only one left on the board right now and it's on its way out doing the ole recurve. But it is a TS and not a typhoon so it's not going to have the impact on the overall pattern as the standard recurving typhoon rule would.

Both waves have turned into TS's. We have TS Maon, which is going to track across the N Philippine Islands then get Hong Kong potentially. The other TS, Tokage will curve NE of Japan but this is only a TS so again, you can toss out the recurving Typhoon theory here too. This system is not strong enough to change anything in the overall pattern.

Maon is still a TS headed for Taiwan and Tokage has strengthened into a typhoon before doing the recurve E of Japan and weakening.
