Shocking that the Bills (now 3-1) croaked at the hands of the Ravens (2-2)!!
I thought for sure Buffalo would have had their defense / offense together last night.
The Ravens Defense finally got their crap together and that was a big difference in the game holding the Bills offense to 10 points.

Good Morning and Les the Lions looked good last night and if you can protect Goff and let him stay in the pocket chances go way up for them to win. He may be one of the best pocket passers ever and he gets in trouble out of the pocket because he is not very mobile. I love their running game and nice receivers. They will be fun to watch all year and still one of my favorite games every year is when Detroit plays at home in the early game on Thanksgiving,

Thanks Tim! The defense did not play as well in the second half IMO but they were good enough to win. The offense was fantastic! The Two Headed Monster - Montgomery and Gibbs at RB is so tough to stop! The Lions O-line dominated the line of scrimmage. As you said about Goff, he was magnificent!!! I loved that trick play where they hiked the ball to St Brown and he throws it to Goff as a receiver for the TD.

Taylor is an idiot under pressure. They couldn’t stop us all game and He basically took 3 knees for 54 yard field goal. WTH. If a field goal was what you wanted, then at least try to get a first down or two. Taylor was the only one that stopped the Bengals Offense

What a stupid ending 41-38!
Reminds me at times of the Redlegs snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!

When your QB throws for over 400 yards and has 5 TD's and you lose the game... there are more problems then just the head coach. Granted Taylor is an idiot I would agree, but their defense has been terrible all season long.

My Lions absolutely crushed those Dallas Cowgirls 47-9! It was Jerry Jones's birthday too yesterday!
I do have some very bad news to report. Lions Defensive pass rusher star Aiden Hutchinson broke his tibia and had to undergo emergency surgery. Prayers to Hutch and his family. No clue how long he will be out. He is the heart and soul of the Lions defense!\\
EDIT: It looks like he had the surgery already at a Dallas hospital and IMHO, this is probably going to be a season ending injury. Not career ending thank goodness.

Les that is not good news. We all understand how good a player he is and this year even more on display as the Lions get more and more attention. Btw the NFC North looks like the best division in football as we talked about several weeks ago. Even the Bears are above 500 but their schedule has been quite soft but again you can only beat the teams on that schedule.

You're right Tim. The NFC North is absolutely the best division right now in football. The Vikings are coming off of their bye week next week and we go to MN to face them. IMO, if we continue playing as we have been playing in the last 2 games, there is nobody that can beat us. The Lions need to keep limiting penalties and taking care of the football. Even without Hutch, they will rally around him and keep on winning! That's what has to be done and if they continue to have that mindset, they will be just fine.
As a side note, the Lions offense has scored 40+ points in back to back games for the first time since the 1960s!

Can we finally say the current kick off rules are horrible. They are just hard to watch. If we do this please put the ball at the 25 yard line every time and then play football. I believe the kick off is important and there is times when you need to kick it short. So either go back to the old way or just put the ball at the 25. I saw the commissioner state the other day that the kickoff is really working well. Really and what the heck is he looking at when he makes these comments. I know the liability of somebody getting hurt but guess what its football and folks get hurt and they know the risks in playing this game.

Les the NFC is so weak and could we see for the first time ever one division have 4 teams in the playoffs. The way things are shaping up its possible and last year the AFC North had 3 teams in and the Bengals were 9-8. Next year sure we are going to 18 games with 2 byes and the super bowl being played the day before Presidents Day when many folks are off work.

I also hate the kick off rules. What is even worse then the kick off rules? The new onside kick rules!
I mean this is just ridiculous! They have eliminated the element of surprise. You have to declare that you are going to do an onsides kick. You can only do it in the 4th quarter. Finally, you have to be losing the game to perform an onsides kick. I mean wow! This is just plain stupid!

Tim, it almost happened in baseball. 3 out of the 4 teams made the post season in the American League Central. Cleveland, Detroit, and Kansas City. With the way the NFC North is playing in the NFL at this time, I could see 3 out of 4 making it to the play off's in January, if not all 4 should the chips fall just right.

Yeah.... it was an ugly win, but a much needed win for Cincinnati. They had better get it together too. Division play is going to be tough minus Cleveland. I have never been a Deshaun Watson fan. He is nothing more then a punk, IMO.
