Hey Les and I had 91-93 today and I thought this would be a tad hotter than yesterday. Seeing some clouds so that is a new sight. I mowed this morning and really the grass was high but not to bad underneath which surprised me. So the lower humidity helps in keeping whatever ground water we have kept in the ground. Not your normal early June in terms of humidity.

92 so far for my high today Tim so right within the forecasted range. CVG the same. Down to 890 though right now as you said thanks to CU development. So temps have probably maxed out for the day. Can the CU grow tall enough to clip your hood with a shower or storm from now thru midnight? 20-30%T coverage. Good luck to all! This is with the backdoor front that ends the heat.

Wishful that we get some rainfall but when the atmosphere is dry hard to get the CU growth you need. Already brighter than 2 hours ago so that is not a good sign as well.

Good Evening and I had a 2 minute downpour plus some thunder. Considered yourself lucky if you got more than a 10 minute thundershower though the raindrops themselves were rather large. So yes the weather is dry here but probably a bigger story is in the southwest where they have been wet and cool for this time of year. Usually very hot this time of year before the normal monsoon rains of later July and August but with the El Nino trying to get stronger the weather itself is acting like an El Nino you would see more in the winter time with the cooler but wet conditions across the southern USA with a dry area to the north.

Though we may get a few back door cold fronts in the next several days these usually come with limited moisture. We need a nice cold front from the northern plains to head this way and lift some moisture from the GOM. Sure the gfs will tend to show that further out in time but that is partly because the model is picking up what seems to happen this time of year and not what really is occuring.

Had 4 tenths here in Cbus. Saw some limbs down too. Was in Lockland yesterday and had some sprinkles and then a light shower come through. Stayed in the pool because it kept you warm from the cold rain. :) Told the kids if it lightnings they are the last ones out. LOL Heading back down to finish a garage roof at my nieces.

We got a 20% chance on Tuesday with the next backdoor front. Then a better chance for rain with a stronger front comes in sometime on the 11th or 12th (Next Sun / Mon). That looks to be our next decent chance.

Slim Pickens that is for sure. I hit 82 today and it felt nice outside too. CVG had the same. 9pm sunsets from now thru July 22nd as the season of summer (at least climo wise) moves in!

Good Evening and the models not so hot on temps today as they were showing upper 80's and I believe 82 is the high. There was some haze from the fires and we did have somewhat different air mass than the past several days. First full week of June and does not get much better if you like warm days and cool nights. Yes we can use the rain and hopefully by next week we start to see a change. The Euro has been a horrible model this spring and some of the heat it has shown is crazy. We know this model is not one for the late spring and summer and no doubt it has been its normal self.

Still watering the flowers but have not given in to the lawn, Give it one more week and if no rain or none expected I will give it a good 2 day dosing next weekend.

Dews are in the 40s right now and we may struggle to get much past 80 again today. Models are running a bit warm thanks to the smoke from the Canadian wild fires IMO. Small shot of rain tomorrow from a back door front. Best chance for everyone continues to be Sunday.
