Here are the August Rankings since no 89 or 90+ is expected today or tomorrow. September looks to tack on some more 90s so we'll see how that all evolves to eventually declare this year's Champion!

CVG topped out at 90 again per the 5pm climate report. Bo you only need two more and not a penny more. Tim and I need 4 then it comes down to 89'ed degree days and Tim definitely needs help in the tie breaking dept.

I believe Les is going to CVG everyday around this time with his blow torch so the temp goes up by a degree or two.

With Sept having now tacked on 4 it looks like Joe, Doug, and Leslie are closest to the mark so far for this month.

Both Bo and Charles predicted 1 for Sept and we've had 4 for the month, so you (3), Joe (5), and Leslie (3) would be closest for this month thus far. Eric, you are correct for the month of Sept. Doug was speaking from an overall sense as in the total # for the season. Bo stands a real good shot at being the Champ!

My bad Eric. I was talking overall for the year. I should have been more clear on that.

For now... Bo is hoping for no more 90s while Tim and I need 2 more to steal the title from Bo. Joe needs 3 more 90 degree days. The contest does not end until 9/30 so there is still time unless the troughing we are soon to get stays put. We shall see!

Well folks, the 90s are done until 2024 the way it is looking. I will go ahead and announce the winner of this year's 90 degree contest. That poster is BO!!!! He guessed a total of 15 90 degree days and was spot on correct! CVG had a total of 15 days this year! Congrats to you Bo for a job well done!
