Pretty wild as we stand at 16 days and Louisville is well over 30. Of course they are a heat island so they are always well ahead of everybody in the Ohio Valley

Yeah Tim, there numbers are really skewed badly due to UHI. It's glaringly obvious at LOU.

After July.... no changes to the top 3 positions. I have made a move up into 4th place though. ;)

gotta give props to Charles/Airwolf76. He knows my weather better than I do and he doesn't even live here! Great job! Interesting how few 89'd days we've had as well.

Agreed. Great job so far Charles! The other two top spots are taken by I-70 posters. I'm trying to represent the Metro Dave but these guys are giving me a run for my money!

I laugh every time one of their meteorologists play up the fact that Louisville had a record high for the day. Like breaking a 100 year old record is a big deal considering how much of a heat island Louisville has become. I guess they are just doing the job though. ;)

If you've ever watched Jude Redfield on WKRB out of LOU, oh boy! He loves talking about UHI and how terrible the data is because of it. Jude used to be on Local 12 here in Cincy years ago when he first came on the scene.

Yeah. Jude is really good. I have seen news broadcasts from Louisville and it wasn't Jude Redfield. Lol! 😆

Going to be interesting the next two weeks look like the 90's are not going to happen. If we continue with a wetter than normal pattern then a likely chances of having to many more days in the 90's is less likely. Usually getting 90 degree days in September either happens if the tropics get going but you must be in the correct place or you have a very dry spell and temps can rise several degrees during the day.

I hate saying it's over this early for the 90s because you know they can bite us back! For now I will say the 90s are done for a couple of weeks anyway. I think it is safe to say that.

With Mon looking very iffy for a 90 ...it looks like Charles has come the closest for August. ;)

I had the numbers mostly right, just had my months mixed up! Actually interesting looking at many of our predictions that there were two camps, one seeing more heat early and more or less peaking July, vs the other being a slow start and gradually picking up steam into August. And a fair chunk of us anticipated heat since about half picked double digits for 89's as well.
