I was out in that storm and it was a bear! Traffic lights are out all over Boone County FYI. Looks like more activity to our west--is that headed this way?

Yeah plenty more action to come later this afternoon through tonight. Good call by ILN to expand flash flood watch coverage. Just got home from work so I missed my chance to cut the grass

Hey JP, I'm kind of hoping it does. Coming over to camp at Alum Creek this weekend. Maybe I can bring my dome and cover the campground.
Well, got 6 tenths with the first batch. I hope it stays dry up there for you. :(

I live 10 miles from CVG and the grand total for the month there is 2.21 with the latest rainfall. I have well over 6 inches and that may be underestimate on my part.

SBCAPE back up over 2000 across southern Indiana so I see no reason to believe the storms there will weaken significantly. Nothing severe at the moment but feel the heavy rain and flood threat will remain high overnight.

Rainfall since last night is over an inch in my hood - my dome burst awhile back! :)

Heaviest concentration remains to the west so far. We'll have to see if it can sink a little further to the SE.

Guys is the storm in Hamilton Co showing rotation? Pretty sure it is getting to spawn a weak funnel.

That's the one in my pictures above. It was definitely turning, but that's hard to catch in still pictures. It tried to put out a very weak funnel for about 20 secs.

Lot of the action is NW of the Metro though and looks to stay that way for a while. 11pm to 10am Sat. looks like prime time for Metro Cincy per latest guidance.
