Two of the best managers ever in the game of baseball. Rooting for Dusty of course and what a terrible mistake the Reds made. I have been a Dusty fan since the 70's. Was he an Hall of Fame type player and no but watching him play ball you knew he was so good at the game itself and even back then you could tell he would be a good manager if he ever decided on that and he did and the results are there. Bruce Bochy has won 3 World Series titles compared to 1 for Dusty. Bruce did play in the Major Leagues and just and average player at best. Love to see great baseball minds at work

I totally agree, Tim. I've always thought it was a terrible mistake also when Dusty was fired as Reds manager 3 days after a Wild Card game loss to the Pirates in 2013. Imo Bob Castellini was just too quick on the pink slip trigger.

JV has a ring already from when he was with Houston. I will be cheering on Max with the Rangers. He absolutely deserves a ring too! Both of these pitchers will be in the Hall of Fame someday. No doubt about it.
