100%. D0 should expand to cover more of the area including my hood and we'll see the D1 and D2 areas gain some ground too. It's going to be a while in regards to the area getting out of it. The tropics are never a guarantee and with the way this season is going, I wouldn't bet on it. Although I still am expecting a Gulf system in the 1st week of September so there's that (assuming it develops lol).
Hi of 88° at Delhi from my weather station so off by 1°! That’s pretty rare for me lol
Hi Jacob,
Thank you bro!MVWxObserver wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:26 pmHi Jacob,
A few minutes ago I went to your FB wx site and registered for hopeful membership. I grew up in the Mt. Airy, N. College Hill, and Oakley areas of Cincy. The Super Outbreak of April 3rd, 1974 is one of the events that sparked my interest in meteorology and storm tracking e.g. I was 11 yrs old during that particular event and resided in Oakley at the time. Thankfully was no damage / destruction in the immediate Oakley area but remember listening to my Dad's transistor radio with updates from Sayler Park, Western Hills, Bridgetown etc.
Hey Tim,tpweather wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:28 pm Though we are in for hopefully the last stretch of hot weather there is signs by Labor Day Weekend we will once again cool down like we have a few times in August. We may end up going from 6-10 degrees above normal next week and then go 6-10 degrees below week for several days. Bad part we may get this without much rainfall. Tropics are still quiet which is a shock I am sure to some of the folks who predicted a record tropical season.
Thanks! The 2011 outbreak is what I can remember That debris was falling over Cincinnati as the tornado struck in KentuckyMVWxObserver wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:26 pmHi Jacob,

Hey Eric, hope you and your family are doing well. About a week of heat and hopefully we can call it quits on the real nasty heat. This will be a drier heat so but anytime you get above 90 its still hot. No doubt we can use rain and besides a scattered shower or two middle and end of next week not much happening. Bocce ball and golf will be much more enjoyable once the temps get below 80MVWxObserver wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:39 pmHey Tim,tpweather wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:28 pm Though we are in for hopefully the last stretch of hot weather there is signs by Labor Day Weekend we will once again cool down like we have a few times in August. Concerned re rainfall and potential lack of substantial amounts but the cool down flip side will be nice for Bocce ball and golf games e.g. etc.

Happy Birthday to Colton. Funny you mentioned Texas Roadhouse as I love the food. We had a golf outing on Wednesday and the food was from Texas Roadhouse.tron777 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:44 am Just got done watering the plants outside and even though the humidity isn't horrible yet, you can sure feel the warmth building. Ugh... It's going to be a cooker for Colton's football game at 12:40pm. It's his birthday today so after the game we are going to Texas Roadhouse to eat. It was his idea lol Sometimes, you would think that he is my kid instead of my Brothers'

Happy Birthday to Colton and time sure does fly by fast seeing the kids grow up!
Hopefully he and his team can get a birthday win present for him! How old is he today?
When my folks and I resided in north Raleigh, NC there was a Texas Roadhouse nearby in Wake Forest and we enjoyed eating there on occasion.
