Awesome news for Reds Fans! Best move they have made in a very long time. He retired from baseball a few years ago due to health reasons. Hopefully he has those issues taken care of.

The oldest player is 28 years old! One of the younger teams you'll see in baseball.

I'm so disappointed in the loss but Game 5 is tomorrow afternoon at 4:38pm in CLE. We have our Ace Tarik Skubal going so we should get the win! At least I hope!
Game will be televised on TBS! Come on Tigers!!!! Let's go!!!!
EDIT: The start time has been moved to 8:08pm Saturday, still on TBS.
EDIT: #2 The start time has been moved up now to 1:08pm due to the potential for inclement weather in Cleveland. *Sigh* I wish MLB would make up their damn minds. This is ridiculous!
Pitchers have been announced. Tarik Skubal for us of course against former Tiger Matthew Boyd for CLE.

Well folks... the Tigers season came to a close yesterday losing to CLE in Game 5 by a score of 7-4. They sure had a great run and what was unique about the season was in mid Aug, they only had a 0.1% chance of even going to the post season. Watch out over the next few years for those Tigers! (And Reds IMO due to their hiring of a great manager!)

Impressed with both teams. Watching these playoff’s, you realize how far the reds need to get , even with their talent. The bullpens for these teams are amazing. And hitting wise , none of the at bats are wasted, even the outs.

The Tigers bullpen impressed me the most this season. Even during the years in the 2010s when Detroit went to the World Series twice, the bull pen was awful. They had one of the best pitching rotations in baseball back then with Verlander, Scherzer, and Price as well as Miggy, Victor Martinez and the young JD Martinez on offense, but the pen was still a disaster. It's exciting to be a Tigers fan again for the next several seasons.

I resided in southeast NY state for a while in the 1980s about 1 1/2 hours from NYC and would like to see a Mets vs "Indians" World Series!!
My folks, sister and I were in Middletown, NY (Orange Co), near the I-84 corridor, the year the Mets defeated the Red Sox in the 1986 WS!
