If the next line holds and hits here, I'll probably get about a half inch total for the day. Hope it is dry Wed and Thurs before the next round comes so I can mow before I leave. Gotta pick beans again too.

0.19" additional rain this evening at CVG about a quarter of an inch here. Event total in that 1.5" to 1.75" range now. Dixie Hwy in Erlanger (US 42, 25, and 127) got 2-3" in just an hours time and it completely flooded the roadway earlier this afternoon. That cell missed me LOL

So even the dome hater storm lover me says uncle! My daily total up to 1.38” and storm total since Saturday 3.85”. Was driving on I-75 north near Monroe during that last line of storms and man was it a deluge!

My Dome has been holding fairly strong here in Greenville, too, of late.
Looks like Fri and Sat offer up the next best substantial chances for some liquid gold.
Also looks like a potential soggy one for my folks, myself, 2 aunts, and an uncle as we go to a cousins reunion on my Mom's side of the family on Sat to Fort Branch, IN which is north of Evansville. Drier for our return trip home on Sun.
On a side note of good sportsmanship: Congrats to the AL on an 8th straight All Star victory!

Good morning all! Happiest of Birthdays to you Tim! Drink one for me today!
Weather wise, those that need to dry out should get a chance to do so today and tomorrow. Chances are very low. Fri and Sat chances ramp back up with localized areas getting another 1-2" very possible while others see very little. Chances start to come down Sun and even further Monday so by Tues, it is dry as the front clears the area.

Thanks for all the b-day wishes . All I am asking for is a couple of dry days as I got hammered yesterday between 530p-7p with nearly 2 inches.

Your wish should be granted unless you're that 10-20% that gets a storm. Knowing your luck... well...
We'll see!

Happy bday Tim, I'm not far behind you on the 60 club!
My weeds are growing faster than the grass with all this rain, ugh!

Good morning Joe.... I hear ya on the weeds. Been too wet and not enough dry time for weed-be-gone to be applied. It'll just wash off the leaves.

Good morning Les, I don't think we'll have brown grass this summer unless it changes drastically to hot and dry for a while.

I agree Joe... if we can make it thru August, we should be good. Sept and Oct are the usual dry months so we should be in good shape to get thru those periods unless the wet pattern continues... who knows!

Welp... the dry string of days on the GFS has been slowly eroding away. Today's run has a couple of dry days coming next week but the second half is active with a back door style frontal boundary hanging up across the Western Lakes and OV regions. Might turn active yet again in the extended...

Jimmy Buffett concert was amazing (shocker lol)!! Mother Nature provided some nice distant pyrotechnics as well looking south behind the stage. Was a great time!
I am definitely hurting today though

Sounds like you had a great time. I remember when I was young I could be ready to drink by noon the next day. A bad night know is about a 3 day recovery lol.

Haha while you have me beat by a few years
I’m turning 30 in a couple of months and I am absolutely not able to boot and rally like I could when I was in late teens/early 20s. Today has been rough

12Z Euro does keep the dry pattern going Tues onwards next week while the GFS keeps the fronts coming. Does the GFS score this time or does the Euro's streak continue? Stay tuned...
The pattern and persistence of it, suggests the GFS should be correct. But again we'll see.

Just see if the heat out west finally can get a hold on further east. Unable so far this summer and with recent rains it may take a longer time than normal but I do see the heat finally making inroads.
