Good Afternoon and so glad most folks got a really nice dose of rain. I got 1.17 total since Monday and its just wild how different systems will produce varying amounts. I was happy since I have been well ahead in the rainfall totals. Les I saw those temps from the Euro and what I have seen in the past few weeks is the Euro really goes high with temps in the longer range but will lower the temps by a few degrees once we get closer. How do you get mid-upper 80's in early Oct. Really dry ground which is not the case at all or a tropical system that can produce some big time ridging that brings the temps up for a day or two. I do not see that at the moment and I will stick with the low 80's with dews staying below 60 which is very easy to deal with.

Reached 66 here and at CVG. For lows tonight I am expecting 45 to 50 in city burbs areas and 40 to 45 in rural areas. A rouge upper 30 in a cold rural valley? We'll have to wait and see. Do not expect frost anywhere.

My current thinking after Saturday's weak system is a warming trend / dry thru the middle of next week at least with that big blocking ridge building into Eastern North America / Mainly Eastern Canada / New England. We'll be on the SW edge of it. 80s easy, No 90s is what I am expecting in the longer term. Should go from 70s on Sunday to 80ish early next week. Then another cut off low to deal with then we're into early Rocktober. Warm up again after Week 1 then I foresee a strong cool down mid month so let's see how that looks when it get closer. Long ways out and tropics are active so anything goes.

Gorgeous today after the chilly start. Upper 60s to Low 70s across the region ought to work out nicely with abundant sunshine and deep cobalt blue skies.

Rainfall amounts with our next system should be around a tenth of an inch or so. Not looking at a big event. Just a line of showers with the next frontal passage on Saturday. Then gorgeous weather Sunday thru a good chunk of next week.

That band of rain is moving into the region this morning. Minus some folks in the East, the rest of us will have a fine afternoon with some sun and temps in the mid to upper 60s. Only expecting 0.10" or less with this system.

Luckily, my hood is only going to receive sprinkles, maybe wet the ground. Probably won't even be measurable which is good. Gonna try and mow today.

Low of 54 this morning at CVG, had 53 here. 0.01" of rain and that'll do it for the next week or so imby.

I have standing water down by the creek so have to stay away from that when I mow this afternoon. This should help:

Got the lawn mowed. Some brown out spots in the back but the front has recovered nicely from the recent rains. :) I hit 69 today, CVG hit 70. Climate normals for tomorrow are 75 / 53. should be below normal tonight and near avg tomorrow. Above avg thru about Thurs of next week then near avg after that. Losing about 2-3 mins of daylight per day right now.

12Z GFS brings in rain Sat night while the Euro wants until next week. I got outside stuff to do this weekend so pulling for the Euro to be right. It should be thanks to the blocking pattern in place.

12Z Euro now has sped up to Sun afternoon for CVG. Wonder if they meet in the middle? Weekend forecast maybe changing if this trend continues. Will not make any changes today. It's only Monday. We're dealing with a block, a cut off low and Sam out in the Atlantic.
