A day off Thurs and then a 10 game home stand to start Sept starting with 4 vs the Cubbies for Labor Day weekend.

A make up DH as Graham Ashcraft takes on Jordan Wicks in Game 1 at 1:10 and then TBD takes on TBD in Game 2 at 6:40 Fri.

Tigers lose again 6-2. I hope we can avoid getting swept today at 1:10pm with Matt Manning. I can't wait until this awful season is over. We've had many awful seasons in a row too.

Tigers lost 4-3 in 10 innings and got swept by the Yankees. Now we travel to Chicago to face the White Sox. 8:10pm tonight with Eduardo Rodriguez.

The guys split a DH yesterday as they lost Game 1 6-2 and won Game 2 3-2.

3rd baseman Noelvi Marte sustained a facial contusion after "catching" a ball in the face before the game that Elly De La Cruz had playfully tossed toward him. Thankfully no fracture. So Marte is now on the day to day IL.

Then later in the 4th inning catcher Tyler Stephenson disputed a call with an ump but was not ejected but Mgr David Bell then came onto the field and started talking with the ump and was ejected. Then a coach who was interim manager also got ejected later after another dispute!

For heaven's sake you'd think the guys were playing the Brew Crew with how they've not been able to outperform the lowly Cards!! SHEESH!! **SMH**

With all the tension from tonight I pray and hope that at some point in tomorrow's rubber match won't spill over into a brawl between these 2 NL Central rivals!!

Wow its still unknown who will be the starting pitchers in the 1st game of the series between the Redlegs and Tigers for this evening.
