Good morning all and a very nice day today for our buddy Kris, whose birthday is today. Happy Birthday Kris and enjoy that 70 today!
We all know what's coming for tomorrow and really for the rest of the week. An eventual drop in temps and wet weather.

As far as any severe wx goes this week, we've got a lot of it (although not necessarily in our area)
A legit tornado outbreak is expected across a good chunk of East Texas today including DFW area, Houston, etc. That slides into LA and MS for tomorrow, also very dangerous looking if not worse then today as a mod risk is out for tomorrow down there. Finally, by Wed Day 3 the rest of the SE including GA and Atlanta have a slight risk, while we have a marginal risk to keep one eye open on in our area.

My final call for precip amounts should be around an inch for the week. The call will bust low naturally if you see no t-storms and will bust high should you see a couple of decent storms over your hood, esp on Wed. Then we deal with an upper level cut off low that will keep cold air, clouds and showers around probably thru at least Sat. I would not be surprised esp at night or in the morning of Fri and Sat to see a few sleet pellets or flakes mixing in. No issues expected of course.

I dropped to 37 here this morning. The temp forecast for the week should be 70 or better today, 60s Tues and Wed, 50s Thurs, then the 40s for highs and 30s for lows Fri - the weekend.

Wow... In the extended range by like this weekend and beyond, Euro has a NW flow pattern. A true clipper like pattern you'd see in winter but its in April so mixed precip. Few flakes, few rain showers. By Day 10 a swing and a miss for a nice little southern stream wave as well. Enjoy that 70 we have right now. It might be a bit before we see it again.

I have a 2nd cousin who lives in a 'burb of Dallas and some wx friends in or near the DFW region, too.
I saw where parts of LA and MS are under a Torcon of 7 for tomorrow! I have some wx friends in those areas, also.

Good Tuesday morning all! Light rain is moving in this morning. Heaviest today will remain north and west of Cincy. The heavier action for us will be tonight and tomorrow. Still a marginal risk for tomorrow and we are still looking at some possible flakes on Saturday with the upper level cut off low moving thru. Basically folks, no changes to the forecast.

Looking like another active evening down south....Texas yesterday and Louisiana/Mississippi today. Hopefully it doesn't turn out as bad but the parameters look nastier than yesterday.
