Snow has started in Miamisburg

Snowing here in Blue Ash & getting some coverage on car tops.

The Woodpile is getting covered. Woolyworm is staying put today. Great day to watch college football.

Just now seeing mood flakes here in Greenville.

31 now with moderate snow...love it!!!

1.25 inches on the deck. Intensity has diminished a bit but should pick back up soon. Even saw some slushy accumulation on I-70 on my way home.

Heaviest snow of the day so far... love the intensity we are seeing here. 1/4 to 1/2" on grassy areas.

Moderate to heavy snow at work atm. This is great.

Been snowing for over an hour here. With the melting, I am guessing over an inch, more likely close to two.

About the same here 1/4-1/2" accumulations . Everything has a coating

Make that about an inch on the ground with a moderate band moving through

Update from Oxford. City crews are now out salting. So glad I’m done doing that!

It finally started to a moderate snow a few minutes ago. Nothing sticking at the moment.

Good Morning and made it home to the beautiful winter wonderland. Funny late Friday afternoon I saw some severe weather in Texas which told me this little system is a little stronger than predicted and love to see the snow. Had rain moderate at times in much of central Kentucky and then saw some snow on the ground near Dry Ridge and then finally saw snow falling near Walton and still snowing lightly in my backyard. My guess 1 inch and maybe a hair more so I consider this is a nice start to hopefully a snowy winter.

I'm in Milford now about 1.5". Had an inch in Burlington when I left home. A lovely day indeed!!!

Good Afternoon and what can we expect over the next 10 days. Always nice to get some snow before Thanksgiving and hopefully this trend continues. Over the next 10 days we are not lacking cold air and plenty of cold will continue to flow into much of the eastern half of the USA. The problem is the amount of precip we can get with this pattern. Should have 2 maybe 3 systems over the next 10 days and will need to see if enough moisture from the GOM and systems to move nearby to give us more snow. Very foggy in Tennessee and southern Kentucky while driving this morning with temps near 50. So there was moisture added to this system and we got enough cold air to give us the nice snowfall. This pattern usually brings smaller storms but again this keeps any warm air well to the south. We are in mid-November so yes we need a little help but the cold over the next 10 days is more in line with mid-Dec and not mid-Nov. Each system will need to be watched with the first arriving late Monday or Tuesday. Will examine this one more over the next day or so.

Everything melted on contact in my area. No biggie plenty of winter to go and getting ready for a wild ride.
