Two more against KC before 4 games at the brew-crew before the all-star break and then we play them back here for 4 games. Big time 8 games and need to win 5 out of 8 imo. The wild card teams will probably come out of the west between San Fran and San Diego as I believe the Dodgers will win the west. Hopefully one of those two teams really have a bad second half of the season in case the Reds are unable to catch the Brewers.
Hi Tim,

I hope that you and your family are doing well, Bro. :) Cincy will have a 4 day All Star break so there shouldn't be any excuse for the guys to not be well-rested up vs the powerhouse Brew Crew! :thumbupleft:

Looking forward to the All Star game, as I do every year, and this year Nick Castellanos and Jesse Winker as our reps! 8-)
Hey Eric and everyone is doing fine. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Welp, the Reds bullpen imploded big time last night in KC - also a few errors on the field added to the loss. Up 6-1 in the 8th only to lose 7-6. I say put this loss behind you and keep playing the way you've been playing the past few weeks!

Yes, hopefully after a last night pep talk via Bell that they'll be able to regroup today in the finale vs the lowly Royals. :thumbupright:

Redlegs were able to redeem themselves and take 2 out of 3 from the Royals as they won 5-2! :)

Next is a 4 games series at Milwaukee to round out the road trip before the All Star break.

Tyler Mahle takes on TBD at 8:10 Thurs.

Tigers win the series 5-3 today against the Rangers! :) Next up is a 4 game road series with the Twins! First pitch is 8:10pm Thursday as Tarik Skubal gets things started for the boys! After this important series, the Tigers will get 4 days off to rest as play resumes 7/16 as the Twins come back to Detroit! :)

Something how those schedules have been arranged like that, Bro. :thumbupright:

Tigers play the Twinkies either side of a 4 days break and the Redlegs play the Brew Crew either side of their 4 days break. :)

Prob biggest series of the year! Wouldn't it be nice to take 3 of these, or even all 4? Gotta at the very least split.

I sure hope so, Bro. :thumbupright: Some of the starting pitching rotation is stronger and then those who are so-so. Tyler Mahle and Wade Miley are two of the best so far this season, Luis Castillo has finally come around more so in the most recent 2 or 3 games with his form, from last year, Vladimir Gutierrez has done fairly okay, and Sonny Gray has been so-so since coming off the DL.

For relief, its mystifying as to why Brad Brach and Heath Hembree 'lost themselves' in that 1 game at KC, and then Amir Garrett didn't of course have any positive success in closing that game. Of course, too, some of the outfielders and / or basemen didn't help matters in that one either.

The Brew Crew are laser precision sharp. Prayerfully somehow our guys can be productive via those guys in both the pre and post All Star break series. :thumbupright:

The Lord must prefer the AL over the NL as the AL won the All Star Classic for the 8th time in a row! :thumbupright:

(NL on at least two occasions had the bases loaded in THEIR favor but just could NOT do anything at those times.) :?

CONGRATS AGAIN AL!! :)

Prayerfully they'll come around and do better as they do 3 games vs the Mets.

Vladimir Gutierrez takes on Jerad Eickhoff at 7:10 Mon.
