Yikes... if the Euro is right, Friday and now Saturday too is trash. GFS has an okay Saturday since it's faster with this system. The Euro came in very slow overnight so something to watch for potential changes in our forecast coming up.

Looks like the GFS is trending that way as well upon further inspection. Both models also have another heavy rain / t-storm maker Tues / Wed of next week. So we're picking up again. 0Z GFS even has a fantasy snow storm on 3/27 :o 6Z lost it naturally.

Hey Les, I also noticed on the 0Z and 6Z GFS that we may see some mood flakes Saturday night as a wrap around moved through? Lol

Loving the nice weather and hoping it sticks around but I'm not ready to believe we've seen the last of winter. I was looking through some pictures on my phone, and we had snow on April 21 last year. The Snow Miser may rear his ugly head yet again!

I keep seeing a hint or two pop up every once and a while but nothing that I am interested in taking seriously yet. It's always worth watching and I do think we see one more blocking period late this month or early April. If it's going to occur, it'll be then.

12Z NAM has rain moving in late Fri and lingering into late Sat. Rainfall amounts aren't heavy only around 0.40" for the period at CVG.

12Z GFS spitting out about a third of an inch of rain with our next system. 2"+ for Tues / Wed of next week! Still a shot of cold for the end of March and some light snow still showing up as well.

Interesting day developing for Friday. Can Clouds and showers in morning and early afternoon, give way to any sunshine and warmth late in the day before the cold front moves through late Friday.? Shear is there , but cape is unknown atm.

Good Morning all and Happy St. Pat Rock's Day to you all! :) As Bgoney was mentioning, SPC has a slight risk out now up to the LOU area and a marginal risk for the rest of us. Wind looks to be the primary threat right now. Meanwhile a beauty today so hope all can enjoy it. Working a half day today, eye check up this afternoon for me. ;)

Good morning Les, I'm hoping to get in some dry time between 6pm and 10 pm tomorrow for having some people over for fire pit. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Good morning Joe! 12Z NAM says yes. It passes the warm front thru about 6 or 7 then it's dry until midnight or so as the next disturbance moves in. We'll see if we can get more data to agree with this kind of timing. It's a little early to commit to anything just yet. Need to see what tomorrow morning does first.

That wasn't the most inspiring long-term outlook from BG. Hopefully we'll get a more seasonal look in the coming days.
