The bulk of today will be dry. Breezy in the afternoon but dry with highs in the upper 60s. Rain is likely tonight and tomorrow perhaps ending as a few flurries. Friday and Saturday are now dry with rain likely again Sunday into early Mon of next week. Then again late Tues into Wed. Another system for Thurs and then yet another sometime the following weekend. Active is the key word here with seasonal temps.

From a severe wx standpoint, I don't see too much for us until we get into April. Certainly will be getting bumpy by then.

Lol.. all good!

It is better for folks west of Cincy as the action will be weakening by the time it gets in here. Both 12Z NAM and HRRR have an after dark arrival (9pm to 11pm window).

...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CAUSE AN ELEVATED
FIRE DANGER TODAY...

A combination of southerly winds gusting 35-40 mph with relative
humidities falling into the 35 to 45 percent range will lead to an
elevated fire danger this afternoon into the early evening hours.

Be aware of the potential for grass fires that may quickly spread
today.

Loose objects may be blown around and persons driving should be
aware of this potential danger, especially on west to east
oriented roadways.

I see a thunderstorm watch for the entire area this evening. With the storm system probably went south by 100 miles over the past couple of days no doubt put us in a little better area to get some strong storms and maybe severe. Rather nasty line in western Indiana producing some tornado's. Again its not as widespread as last week plus the tornado;s are the ones that pop up and maybe only stay on the ground if at all for a few minutes. Still if you are in the wrong place we know what can happen. That line should weaken some as it moves east but that touch of sunshine late this afternoon to increase the chances somewhat . Will be quick moving through the area and maybe 1-2 hours totals for the line to pass any area but could be a rather noisy 1-2 hours.

This is a classic later winter early spring storm with severe weather and heavy snow in the upper mid-west. Will call my son in the morning but I know he is getting hammered with heavy snow this evening.

Les I am a little jealous of the heavy snow. He lives northwest of Wausau in marathon country and the airport is southeast of the city. Next year if we have a bummer winter no doubt I will head up there for a bigger snow. Had just enough action locally this season to keep me here lol

CVG reached 69, DAY 67 and CMH 73 today.

Will miss these kinds of temps until we get to April and hopefully by then more so the norm than the exception. ;)

Tornado warning just west on Indy. My guess we will see these pop up over the next few hours and sort of like wack-a-mole as they pop up and then die down.
