Southern exposure is even worse. The snow got wiped out imby easily. The front faces north so very little has melted. All will be gone by tomorrow afternoon of course. 22 / 10 here

There is a little closed low on Tues that looks to stay south of us attm so will keep it dry next week until Fri / Sat when our next frontal systems works in. 12Z GFS currently spitting out 0.41" of rain.

27 was my high at midnight. 28 at CVG so we missed the record cold high by 2 degrees.

15 this morning. Temps already are rising into the 20s with 45 to 50 expected down this way later this afternoon. A warming trend continues with the 60s possible Mon, in the 60s Tues, and cracking 70 or so for Wed and Thurs. Fri into Sat continues to look like our next chance for wet weather at this time.

The wind doesn't look to lighten up until Tuesday. So even tomorrow there will be a bit of wind chill esp early.

Currently a warming trend this week. Rain by Fri into Sat for us which means it should hit over this weekend for you. Unless something else pops up and catches my eye, we're done.

A quiet but nice weather week coming up. Should crack 60 today and 70 or so by Wed and Thurs. Speaking of Thurs, Low 70s for your St Patrick's Day! Looking great for some outdoor parties there. Still awaiting our next system on Fri, ending early Sat. We cool down a bit but 50s and L60s aren't much of a cool down. Next one due up after that is around Tues or Wed of next week as we begin to get more active again.

MJO still on track to do a repeat of its last activity. A moderate intensity trek into the Indian Ocean and eventually weakening as it moves through the maritime. Sniffing the Pac phases continues to be unlikely as broad area of easterlies centered near the dateline for over a month and still forecasted into the foreseeable future. 2 ,3 and 4 are cool phases so expect to see more cold fronts periodically into April, breaking up the warm spells . Fairly normal spring pattern . Tough to say atm how warm or cold the temps can get related to normal with such a progressive pattern, unless a negative NAO can develop

I think the rest of March avg's on the warm side with a couple of cool spells nothing like what we just had. Interested in a possible strong system towards the end of the month as March goes out like a Lion. Possible severe wx outbreak for somebody as we get one more cold punch to kick off April with one more -NAO blocking episode being predicted early on by long term guidance. If this is correct anyway. We shall see. Until then, expecting a few more moderate cold fronts with shower's and t-storms likely with each. Not yet sniffing out any heavy rain or flooding risks, not seeing any severe risks yet until end of the month.

A bit breezy so still a wind chill this afternoon but temps in the 55 to 60 degree range won't be too hard to take. Next 3 days aren't bad at all, esp Wed and St. Patrick's Day. Those two are my pick days of the week for outdoor plans of any kind.

12Z Euro is a little more frisky today showing around 3/4" of rain Fri afternoon / early Sat for CVG.

It's got another heavy rain maker around the 22nd as well. That one has a severe component to it if the Euro is right. I think we may have a severe thread at least 1 to start before this month is out.

42 here this morning with a high in the mid to upper 60s likely. U60s Wed and 70+ on St. Patrick's Day. Friday into Sat is still looking like our wet times this week. A brief cool down but 70 is coming back very quickly again next week ahead of that mid week rain maker I talked about.

GFS has a third of an inch of rain Fri ending early Sat. Euro has an inch. Then both models have 1-2" around 22-23rd next week with a possible severe threat if the timing is correct in my opinion.
